Le Cedre is a delightful recently modernised villa situated just 5 minutes on foor from the centre of the Provençal town of Lorgues yet on a quiet, secluded plot. Fully air-conditioned with a lovely heated 8 x 4 metre pool and flat grassed garden it provides perfect family accommodation.
The open plan living accommodation offers a modern fully equipped kitchen, large dining table and comfortable seating area. There are three bedrooms; two with double beds and one with two singles which can be pushed together to make a large double if required.
The gardens feature a large cedar tree offering shade from the summer sun The garden is flat and grassed and the property is fully fenced meaning that children can play safely. An added bonus is the children's playground just a couple of minutes' walk away.
Lorgues is a typically Provençal small town with many good quality restaurants and bars and a renowned Provençal market on Tuesday mornings. It is perfectly situated between the Mediterranean coastline and the Gorges du Verdon, Europe's very own Grand Canyon. There are many delightful Provençal villages to visit during your stay.

Family stay in Lorgues

We had a great time staying at Le Cedre. We had fun in the lovely pool, enjoyed playing pétanque and of course the market. Easy access to Marseilles, Nice and the great beaches. Judith was extremely helpful. We recommend Le Cedre as a base to explore the area.

Very pleasant stay at Le Cedre

We enjoyed our week over New Year's with 5 adults and 1 child. Even though the house only has one bathroom, it worked out well. The house itself is cozy and well-equipped. Being only a few minutes walking distance from the village center, is comfortable. Judith was very helpful whenever we had questions :-)

Lovely spacious property, completely fenced in so our nosey dog could explore, plenty of shade for him and us to escape the sun when it became too hot and an absolute sun trap around by the pool. Inside, nice big rooms and very clean with excellent air-conditioning. The centre is a small walk down the hill and it is beautiful with wonderful markets on Tuesday and Friday.The Hostess Judith was fantastic and extremely helpful.All in all we had fantastic time here and will definitely be looking to head back.

Provence Urlaub geht kaum besser

Schönes gemütliches Haus, schattenspendende Terrasse, gepflegter beheizter Pool, kleine Stadt mit den nötigsten Einkaufsmöglichkeiten ! Sehr großer Wochenmarkt…Herrlich!Wir waren 4 Erwachsene und ein Kleinkind, für mehr Personen wäre ein zweites Bad besser, aber ein extra WC war auch praktisch! Gute Klimaanlage!

Vacances de rêve

La cuisine est ABSOLUMENT complète (même un presse agrume !!!) et terriblement fonctionnelle. Maison complètement climatisée. Le jardin dispose de différents endroits aménagés propices à la détente et aux apéros. Enfin, clou du spectacle, la piscine permet de rafraîchir à n’importe quelle heure de la journée.

Beautiful house with pool on a walking distance of Lorgues

Wij werden hartelijk ontvangen door host Judith die ons een rondleiding gaf en ons ook wat tips voor de omgeving meegaf. We verbleven 2 weken met ons tieners van 17 en 18 jaar is dit prachtige huis. Het is zeer sfeervol ingericht en je voelt je meteen thuis. De keuken is goed uitgerust, er is alles wat je nodig hebt en meer. Airco doet het in alle ruimtes. Barbecue top! Heerlijk zwembad en schoon, mede dankzij Emile, de aardige zwembad man die 2x per week langs kwam voor het onderhoud. Heerlijk terras en zelfs een jeux de boule baan waar wij veel plezier van hadden. Het huis ligt heel rustig, wat wij heel fijn vonden. Er zijn enkele huizen dichtbij, maar geen enkele overlast van herrie. Je loopt in 5 minuten naar het dorp voor de bakker, koffie drinken of wat te eten, wat wij allemaal graag deden en ieder de ruimte gaf zelf of samen op pad te gaan. Lorgues is een prachtig Provençaals dorpje met leuke markten, heel erg knus. Er is veel te doen in de buurt zoals een dag naar Nice, Aix, Antibe of de Gorge du Verdon, en anders lekker bijkomen in dit heerlijke huis. Al met al heeft het huis onze verwachtingen overtroffen!

Séjour agréable grace au calme de Lorgues.

La maison était très bien équipée, le plus appréciable avec ces fortes chaleur a été la climatisation dans toute la maison. Le point fort de cette location est son emplacement a proximité à pied du beau petit village de Lorgues. Le seule bémol a été la piscine. Louant des villas avec piscine chaque année dans le Sud, c'est la première fois en arrivant dans un villa que je trouve une piscine trouble. Grande déception!!! Malgré les passages du pisciniste, la piscine est restée trouble pendant nos deux semaines de vacances. Le tour de la piscine nécessite des améliorations car ce n'est pas agréable de marcher pieds nues sur des cailloux. Dommage tout était au rendez-vous pour passer un agréable séjour.

Schönes Haus

Sehr schönes und gepflegtes Haus. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Toll ist auch die Lage. Mit einem Spaziergang durch die Altstadt erreicht man kleine Geschäfte sowie Cafes und Restaurants. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Perfekter Urlaub

Ein wunderschönes Anwesen mit einem großen Privaten Pool. Das Grundstück ist komplett umzäunt was uns wichtig war wegen unsern Hundes. Die Innenstand ist in 8 min zu fuß erreichbar und der weg führt durch ein wunderschönes Städtchen mit bunten Häuser. Das Haus hat alles was man für einen perfekten Urlaub benötigt, alles war hochwertig und total schön eingerichtet. Wir fahren nächstes Jahr wieder dort hin, einfach ein Perfekter Ort der Erholung
