Stunning Coastal Cottage - Sleeping 5 in 2 Bedrooms - Pool and Beach Access Included.

Welcome to Bluebell Cottage - part of the Bay Filey Holiday Village it is ideal for couples or a growing family with children.

This cottage has been partially refurbished including new corner sofa (with bed), new dining furniture, replacement carpets, replacement radiators, new patio furniture, new soft furnishings, new blinds, high speed internet and new beds to both bedrooms.

Enter into the airy hallway with storage for all your essentials and access to the downstairs cloak / WC.

Walk through into the large open plan L shaped lounge with corner sofa (and bed), SMART TV, dining room (sits 4) and fully fitted kitchen (refreshed in late 2025) including dishwasher, washer/dryer etc.

Upstairs the property comprises of 1 double bedroom and 1 twin bedroom with a large family bathroom complete with bath and overhead rainfall shower.

If you want bedding for the sofa bed you must request this as a chargeable extra at checkout.

Off the lounge area are French doors open onto a private furnished patio, surrounded by large, shared garden and landscaped grounds.

Travel Cot and High Chair are available for use free of charge (own bedding required).

We leave a few games for our guests to use. This warm and cosy house is ideal for breaks all year round.

Some amenities are chargeable locally like food and drink, tennis and any activities operated by Away Resorts such as Archery and Crafts.

Comfortable and cozy cottage.

We've stayed in many cottages at the bay over the last 5 years and are never disappointed. Home from home quality. I wrote a couple of repairs needed in the comments book only to help the next person to have a comfortable stay.

Short Stay

We had a short but comfortable stay at Bluebell Cottage. Its homely and has good access to the beach. Only things I can recommend for better is it to have it deep cleaned before next visitor.

Great family holiday at Anchor Bay

We stayed in Anchor Bay with our little boy and had a great time. The cottage was well-equipped and equally well located and we liked how close the pub was for food and drinks. The pool on site was also great, as was the park. The beds at the cottage were extremely comfy and we slept well. A great stay and we're looking at going back with our large, extended family (30+ of us) next summer.

We had a lovely time at the cottage, it is well equipped and well situated for exploring the area. Our stay was well organised and the owner communicates very effectively which takes away the stress. We will be visiting again in 2024!

pleasant stay

booked at short notice , good location , well equipped had everything we needed , clean throughout and like new condition, taste fully decorated , the kettle wasn`t working on arrival , but contacted owner who arranged for a replacement to be delivered next day , we would certainly stay here again .

A lovely holiday.

Blue bell cottage was the perfect accommodation for our family holiday. The cottage was spotless and very comfortable we were very happy to be staying there. The heated towel rail in the bathroom was a Godsend, no soggy towels to deal with, thank you Sarah and Iain and all at the Bay.

Great cottage

Cottage was great inside but the outside let it down a bit The furniture outside was very dirty and unusable, which was a shame as we were there on a lovely weekend and it would have been nice to be able to sit outside with a glass of wine. Also the small aree of grass belonging to the cottage needed cutting Inside , it has everything you could possibly need. Is spacious, clean and tidy

2nd visit bluebell cottage

This was our 2nd visit to the cottage , having gone the first time early June , the cottage is lovely and clean , it has all the home comforts , and is well placed to visit the many tourist attractions , the area has lots of dog friendly places , which was good for us , as we took our westie with us.

Well configured and equipped house in a pleasant setting. There’s a feel of village living but with the extras of a swimming pool and the glorious Filey beach.

Another fabulous stay at The Bay

We've just returned home from our second stay at The Bay. As usual, we did not want to leave. Bluebell Cottage is wonderfully welcoming and has all you need for your break away. A prefect family break

From the moment we booked our stay at Bluebell cottage, the communication from Anthony was outstanding. The cottage itself was immaculate and very homely. We stayed for 5 nights and The Bay is a wonderful base to explore the Yorkshire Coast. Bluebell cottage itself is so relaxing with a modern decor and comfortable beds. You are provided with plenty of towels for your stay. I would definitely stay here again and it has genuinely been our favourite UK break

Bluebell Cottage

Bluebell Cottage was spotlessly clean and extremely well equipped and very airy and light. Beds were very comfortable. The beach wasn't as accessible as we'd hoped for and down a long and steep path. I couldn't manage the walk due to my age and a knee problem. Management kept us well informed throughout the whole process via text and email and Anthony was very helpful and friendly on phone calls.

Nice few days with the grandkids

Very comfortable and well kitted out. Plenty of crockery and utensils. We have stopped here before as we know the owners. We tried to use swimming pool but always full maybe some sort of booking system would be good. Beach was nice but hilly to access.

Enjoyed our new year stay at bluebell cottage ,comfy beds and settee , lovely walks for the dogs .we did not use any of the facilities at the The Bay as we were both not well.a bit tricky finding parking when the family came to visit but that was expected as it was high season.would i come back yes as I have already booked for next new year

Family retirement weekend

Fabulous well stocked cottage. The tea, coffee and biscuits were a nice touch. Exceptionally clean, lovely decor, beds very comfy. One slight issue, could do with a rubber bath mat, bath is so deep, tricky to get out off without grab rails. Otherwise, everything was perfect, even the weather.

Really lovely and great location for exploring the coast

We got away with our young daughter and chose The Bay as it had amenities to keep her busy (beach/swimming pool/park etc). Lovely purpose built area, great for walks and activities. The property was excellent, lovely and spacious in a good location (was quiet as we weren't too close to the pub/restaurant), perfect for us. Had to message Anthony about a small incident with the freezer and he was excellent about it. Would recommend! P.S. the on site pizza restaurant were not accepting card payments when we were there, bring some cash along just in case as the nearest ATM is the Haven next door.
