Fully equipped kitchen, the washing machine was actually a washer dryer, which was a bonus. Central heating very easy to use. Lovely fluffy towels, but the bath mat was a little tired. No problems with the WiFi, TVs in the bedrooms were small, but TV in the living room was great. The "log burner" was not a real fire, but again a bonus, much easier to control the heat and less messy. The Bay park is great and we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you Beachcomber, we would love to return!

Stayed in the cottage for many years always have the same positive experience. Since upgrading to a smart TV which is useful sadly the kids can no longer play on the Wii as there is no connection point . However still no faults and amazing holiday home.

Lovely stay in a lovely property just a short walk to the beach. The holiday village was very clean and easy to get around. Short drive to the Piebald Inn where you can choose for an endless menu of pies.

weekend at the Bay

We had the pleasure of staying here this weekend and whilst it wasn't a completely relaxing time for all, the kids were in a swimming gala, the location and property were spot on. Great communication from Vrbo and from the owner. The offer a later checkout was greatly appreciated. Our only slightly negative comment would come from my wife who struggled a little to get shampoo out of her hair due to the power of the shower. Otherwise amazing property and will definitely look to book again if we are visiting the Filey area. Cheers Nigel

Loved beachcomber holiday home it was spotlessly clean and very spacious would definitely stop there again ps just one problem couldn’t locate the safe key box we were looking for for a while thinking it should be near door back or front of property but we discovered it was in the barbecue area so took us a while but got in Thanks Paul

Filey Bay weekend

Lovely little property, very clean. It had everything we needed and was ideally positioned for us to explore Filey, Scarborough, Bridlington and Flamborough. The kids loved their time there, feeding the ducks outside of the property went down a treat.

Wonderful short stay at this beautiful cottage!

We had a wonderful short stay at this beautiful cottage! The attention to detail throughout the property is excellent. The location is fantastic, especially for our dog, with the beach just a short walk away and a lovely, easy walk into Filey. The welcome pack was a lovely touch, and the beds were comfortable, ensuring a restful sleep. The kitchen was well-stocked, making it easy to prepare meals during our stay. Communication with the host was excellent – Nigel was incredibly responsive and helpful. We will definitely be coming back!

Lovely cottage, lovely resort

We really enjoyed our stay at Beachcomber cottage. It was clean and tidy and had everything we needed for a home-from-home break. Would be even better in the summer when you can use the outdoor space and bbq. The resort is really lovely too - very clean and a very short stroll down to the beach. The dog friendly pub on site worked really well for us for evening meals. It was very busy even in February so I would imagine booking would be essential during peak season. The owner was readily available to answer any questions also. Highly recommend the cote.

Great place

Property was as described and easily accessible. It was equipped with everything you would need for a a short stay and the facilities are fantastic especially the pool and gym. Communication and information provided by Nigel was great and will definitely stay here again.

We live in Derbyshire with our two teenage sons and our cairn terrier. Our cairn terrier loves the beach and wildflower meadow walks, our sons love the gym, the pool and the many other activities on The Bay and we enjoy the fact that everyone else is having a great time.
We enjoy the BBQ in the evening and the boules pitch is a great way of making new friends.

You will not be short of things to do if you are looking for an active break; choose from cycling, golf, fishing, archery. tennis, kayaking, swimming, gym and more. Then relax over a game of pool in the John Paul Jones Pub.
If you prefer a more relaxed break, after a stroll along the beach, pamper yourself in the onsite leisure complex sauna and beauty room before a friendly game of boules and slow bar-be-que back at the cottage.
