The apartment in Funchal has 1 bedrooms and has capacity for 4 people.

The accommodation is equipped with the following items: lift, terrace, iron, internet (Wi-Fi), hair dryer, air-conditioned, TV.
In the kitchen, refrigerator, microwave, oven, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, dishes/cutlery, kitchen utensils, coffee machine, toaster and kettle are provided.

The Viola Market building is located in the centre of one of the historical districts of the city of Funchal, in one of the most emblematic streets and only 20 meters from the Lavradores Market. Nearby you can also find the cable car to Monte, the Cathedral, numerous restaurants, supermarket, terraces and shops in the Old Town, which guarantee constant entertainment and tourism.

Our flats are fully equipped and were conceived with the purpose of providing total comfort to the guests.

The journey from the airport to the flat can be made with the aerobus, which costs ¤ 5.00 per return ticket. You will have to get off at stop number four (Market) and just 15 meters away you will find the Viola Market building. Two minutes away on foot there is a public car park, buses and taxi rank.

Due to its centrality it is very easy to move around the whole island.

A confirmation voucher will be sent to your e-mail with all the important details about your reservation and Feels Like Home additional services.
Access to the apartment is made by code. Guests should go directly to the apartment and contact our team upon arrival to provide the ID or Passport information and obtain the access codes.
All guests must provide their ID or Passport Information at the time of check-in.
Please note that a mandatory touristic tax will be included in the final price. If it has not been charged at the moment of your reservation, it must be paid in cash at the check-in.
All the remaining payments must be made in cash.
Transfer Service - We can provide a transfer service for an additional cost.
Amenities - We provide toilet paper and shampoo only for the first day.

The apartment was very comfortable, clean and all modern amenities that we could have wanted. It is very centrally located, close to the old town streets, the promenade and the main shopping streets. Right next to the the Mercado. The information provided on the Guest Area of the booking was most comprehensive and helpful, complete with short videos on how to enter and use the equipment.

The best thing about this apartment is the location

I want to start off by saying that the staff at Viola Market were excellent. Mariana was very responsive, polite, and professional. I felt bad for her because the issues with our stay were really beyond her control.What reviewers complained about with the other Viola Market apartment is also true about this one: the shower stall leaks. In our case it hadn’t just leaked, but water had seeped below the linoleum plank flooring and made the floor squishy. Our feet and socks kept getting wet in the bathroom even though we had just arrived and hadn’t even used the shower. I knelt down and pressed on the floor and dank, smelly water bubbled up from the floor. It was gross.I messaged Mariana and they had a maintenance technician there for several hours the next day to reinforce the seal around the door (it looks like he just applied silicone) but it didn’t do anything. The issue is more to do with the shower doors and threshold combined with the shallowness of the shower pan. It’s leaked enough times now that it’s compromised the glue that holds the flooring down hence the bubbling up when you put any worth on the flooring.The second issue that was really annoying all week was the wi-fi. We kept getting kicked off every 30 minutes and you’d have to login back in again. This is a disaster if you’re in the middle of a Zoom meeting and extremely frustrating if you’re trying to stream any content. There didn’t seem anyway to fix this from what we could tell.

Excellent emplacement.Comme indiqué dans les autres commentaires pas mal de bruits car la rue est animée.Néanmoins, notre appartement était au dernier étage et notre chambre ne donnait pas côté rue donc sincèrement le bruit était largement supportable. Je pourrais re-louer cet appartement si je revenais à Madeire sans problème.
