This stylish holiday home provides excellent views of the peaceful beach at Marske-by-the-Sea. Beach Retreat is also the perfect location for dog owners with sufficient exercising space being available in the surrounding area.

The Space:
LIVING AREA
It will be hard not to be stunned by the views as soon as you enter the cosy and homely living room at Beach Retreat. This spacious room has ample seating for you and your loved ones to relax after a long day exploring the area in front of a large flat-screen TV.

DINING AREA AND KITCHEN
The apartment boasts yet another large space with the dining area providing a comfortable eating space, with the modern kitchen linking straight onto the room. There is also a statement exposed brick fireplace for those chilly evenings on the North Yorkshire coast.

BEDROOM
Beach Retreat’s two bedrooms will provide the perfect night’s sleep. The bright double master bedroom boasts a wardrobe which will provide adequate space for your belongings. What’s more, there is yet another flat-screen TV, so why not relax with a cup of coffee and the TV in the morning? The second bedroom has two comfortable single beds and the room itself is yet again light, roomy and comfortingly carpeted.

BATHROOM
Feel a real sense of the seaside theme in the modern bathroom which has everything you need. Both a bath and a shower are available to guests at Beach Retreat.

BACKYARD
Step outside the wow-factor continues with a secluded private back yard which is in prime spot for a special sea view. Yet again, there is sufficient room to relax in the immaculately kept setting.

Host & Stay are committed to our owners that their homes are protected during guest bookings. For this reason, we require all our guests to transfer a Damage Deposit (refundable, subject to an administration charge) or, to purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver which will cover you for up to £500.00 of accidental damage during your stay.

Guest Access:
Guests have access to the full property. The keys to the building are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date.

There is free parking in front of the property for one vehicle. Please note this space is not guaranteed.

The Neighborhood:
Marske-by-the-Sea is a delightful village located on the North Yorkshire coast, less than 10 minutes from Saltburn and Redcar. The village square is packed with independent businesses, including dog-friendly cafes, pubs, micropubs and restaurants. Nearby is Marske Valley Gardens where you can explore walkways lined with beautiful flowers. Head to Marske Sands and you’ll find a long stretch of gently sloping sandy beach. The famous Cleveland Way snakes its way across the cliff tops and along the beach to Saltburn and beyond.

Neighbouring Saltburn-by-the-Sea is a great place to visit during your stay. Take the oldest functioning cliff lift in the UK down to the promenade and you’ll arrive at the 208-metre pier which stretches out into the sea. The long sandy shores are overlooked by colourful boutique beach huts and high cliffs tower in the distance.
You can also find popular villages and towns such as Staithes, Robin Hoods Bay and Whitby further along the coast.

Getting Around:
Beach Retreat is within walking distance of all that Marske has to offer and within 30 minutes’ drive time of Saltburn, Staithes, Middlesbrough and the North Yorkshire Moors.

Marske Train Station is a short walk away and has routes to Longbeck, Redcar, Middlesbrough and Darlington with connecting trains to Newcastle, York, Leeds, Manchester and London.

There are plenty of bus routes throughout Marske. Hop on the Arriva X4 route and you can visit beautiful coastal villages like Staithes, Runswick Bay, Sandsend and Whitby.
