Gorgeous Horsebox at Glamp in Style in East Sussex

A beautifully handcrafted home which has been built from upcycling over many years.

The space brings you a sanctuary of relaxation and peace, and is set in the tranquillity of East Sussex nature.

I had bought the vehicle as a working horse truck in 2016 before it was totally stripped bare and put back together as a beautiful home.

It was blood, sweat and tears but the space has paid back dividends in mindfulness and peace.

I now invite other like-minded people to enjoy this creation.

The space
The space makes the most out of the shape and size.
Up front is a double bed above the cab which is accessed by a fixed ladder.
The lounge is built with a futon facing out to the glazed patio doors and adjacent woodburning stove. A bookshelf containing some interesting reads is in easy reach.
A kitchen area with gas oven and hob divides the lounge and front bed.
Out the rear is a separated room with 3 bunks, 2 of which fold to provide an office desk and monitor wall.
You will also find a W.C room and more storage.
A rear barn door provides air, light and a private entrance.

Other things to note
Although it's homely, it should be appreciated that it's also close to nature.
The horsebox will rock in the wind, and if it rains you'll hear it. It is all part of the experience and a little romantic when the weather does come in.

The horsebox is off-grid; a solar panel provides power for lighting and USBs, and 1000w inverter provides power for small electrical items. It won't power a hair dryer with the heat setting on.

The toilet is a flushing chemical toilet but I don't use chemicals, so it would be appreciated if it could be used for emergency no1's.

A composting toilet is on site.
There are ladders and steps and cupboards etc so the space is not suitable for under 8 year olds.

There's no appropriate age parameters on Airbnb but the accommodation isn't suitable for under 8s.
This is due to the nature of self builds and breakables and falls etc.. Obviously, contact me with any queries.
