Roddy was a good host visited when we arrived to check if we needed anything there was a nice welcone pack of Milk bread tea coffee etc and some lovely home baking and fresh fruit The house is in the ideal location to explore Stornoway and only 2 mins walk to the town centre and 5 mins drive from the Calmac port with Tesco on route There is private parking at the rear of the property as well as on street parking

Great location

We had a wonderful time in Stornoway. The place is spotless and nicely renovated. The room layout is excellent. It is centrally located and convenient to everything in town.

An absolutely lovely place - cosy, warm and brilliantly located close to the centre of town. All modern inside and quiet - locale has a lot of character of old Stornoway. Highly recommend!

Exceptionally clean and comfortable

Amazing property. Great communication from the property owners-and a great surprise to have some starter groceries and snacks provided. Would highly recommend this property, exceptionally clean ,comfortable, location was great. Could not have asked for a better stay.

The perfect cottage, in the heart of Stornoway

A delightful three bedroom cottage in the heart of Stornoway. Beautifully renovated and a great place to unwind after a day exploring the Isle of Lewis. Close to great restaurants, shops and key attractions. Easy to book, check in and check out. Roddy was a delight and made it all too easy. Just wonderful!

Beautiful and Comfortable Home

Enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home in the center of Stornoway. Couldn’t have asked for a better location and comfort! We appreciate the “edible goodies” that were provided for us upon arrival. Would definitely stay in this accommodation again if we ever travel back to the area.

We had a very nice stay. Roddy came over and helped us figure out all the power switches in the kitchen (and we dicovered the cool undercabinet lighting 😎). Lots of good appliances, pans and dishes for self-catering. Comfortable accommodations.

Great accommodation and hosts

The hosts, Roddy and Catherine were great and left us milk, coffee, tea, a loaf, a bowl of fruit … essentially everything we needed after a very long and tiring trip from the USA. The only thing Roddy and Catherine couldn’t fix was the horrendous weather but we still had a wonderful time on Lewis & Harris with the best hosts ever so thank you

Perfect location, beautiful home

This renovated property was perfectly located in Stornoway and came with plenty of parking. Six of us (three couples) enjoyed our stay very much, We appreciated the owner stopping by to check in with us and to make sure we had everything we needed. He also provided us with some excellent restaurant suggestions. I highly recommend this lovely house.
