Western isles

Property easy to find Kitchen area really well supplied and great seating area. The sofa and mattresess needs to be updated and en suite area required attention. Host was very pleasant and attentive Would stay here again if upgrades on seating area and bedding we're implemented.

Excellent location for ferry terminal. Easy access to main roads for exploring Lewis and Harris. Provided everything we needed unlike other properties we have stayed in. Having Sky Q was a great bonus so we could record programmes while we were out exploring and watch them later.

A real cosy cottage. Very well equipped. Lively sea view from dining table and lovely walks.

A great property. Very competently priced with good bedroom space and many modern conveniences for a truly great holiday. Very convenient to walk into Stornoway and local shops and restaurants.

Small cottage beautifully prepared, equipped and presented. Everything required was to hand. Generous welcome pack upon arrival. Overall, we were very happy with the property and the holiday in general.

A very cosy and comfortable cottage

This cottage was immaculately clean, comfortable and cosy cottage. It is close enough to Stornaway to walk into town to enjoy the restaurants, pubs and shops, but is also a very quiet area. It is an easy walk to the sea.

Wonderful little cottage

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at the cottage. The house was spotlessly clean, well stocked, cosy and comfortable. It was in a good location, close to the town centre and ferry port. The host was easy to contact via email and helpful Many thanks!!

Well equipped and comfortable cottage

It had all the facilities that you would need at a holiday cottage. It was well maintained comfortable and a large garden at the back. Parking was on the premises, with good communication with the owner. Great place to stay for site seeing or doing nothing.

The island life

Excellent. Clean,comfortable,excellent facilities and an open view from the rear of the property. Walking distance to town and castle and the rest of Lewis and Harris easily accessible. The lady who looks after the property was friendly, cheerful,pretty! and efficient while the owner, Murdo Maclean was an absolute star throughout, easily contacted and helpful, especially when the weather closed in.

Stornoway visit

The property had been nicely refurbished, the kitchen was well equipped and the property was nice and clean. The property is about a 10 minute walk from the centre of Stornoway in a quiet location. Lovely location for walking and seeing the sites of Lewis and Harris.

The great thing about this cottage that most others don't offer is its convenience of being close to the Town Centre but also being beside the Sea.
It really does feel like being in the Countryside.

A short stroll will find you at the edge of the Sea shore, where the air doesn't get any fresher.

In the Summer watch the cruise ships sail past as they bring their passengers into Stornoway Harbour.
