Family Gathering
Generally
The house is located close to the airport. It depends in which direction the airplanes are start and land you will hear the noise. In our case it did not bother us. It was okay.
Positive
The location of the house is breathtaking.
It is well designed modern villa which people will love if they appreciate modern architecture.
The pool length with 16 Meter is great. You can do easily swim workouts.
We could stay late on our departure day. That was great.
Negative
Maintenance is in some areas not up to date. For instance
- Crack in one mirror
- One fridge is very rusty inside
- The kitchen cabinet doors are not all working well
- The control panel of the kitchen hood is not working
- The fittings of the bathrooms did not work well
- The fitting of the outside shower is not working well
- Some tiles are fallen of in the swimming pool
- etc.
The most challenging one are the two bedrooms in the basement. They are very smelly due to the high humidity I guess. We stopped sleeping in the basement after two days. We could not stay with the mod smell. Maybe other guests can handle it.
After we returned home, the landlord is trying to charge us for damaging a veneer fridge door with 3.000€. We are currently in contact with FeWo to sort this is issue out.
Summary
The house and the location is outstanding. The equipment of the kitchen and the bathrooms is in the years. The two bed rooms in the bed room we could not use for our stay due to the mod smell.
