Welcome to Our Beautifully Modernised !8th Century Riverside Farmhouse on the Charente - Dordogne border in south West France. Set Beside the gentle river Nizonne with miles of walks from the door, the house offers a peaceful countryside escape while being close to local villages, restaurants and amenities.

Recently renovated with a relaxed shabby-chic feel, the property stays naturally cool in summer thanks to 1m-thick stone walls, working shutters and ceiling fans in every bedroom.

Please bring your own towels.

A private spa is available by special request. This includes access to the float tank, steam room and hydrotherapy bath, and must be booked with a spa manager to ensure correct operation. Optional add-ons such as massage, yoga and relaxation sessions are also available. on request at an additional fee starting from €30 / 1/2 hour session (You may search WellbeingFrance for more information.)

The area offers plenty to explore within a short drive: kayaking, caving, River Boat cruises, lakes, hiking, cycling routes, medieval towns, vineyards, Cognac, Golf Courses fine dining, night markets, and even one of Europe's top go-karting tracks.

A perfect base for couples, families or friends looking for quiet, comfort and nature.

Hi We're John and Carolina, a couple who left the busy City life behind to buid something meaningful in rural France. Our Home sits on the border of the Charente and Dordogne, where we run Paramotorfrance and wellbeingfrance, combining adventure, relaxation, nature and good living.
From Paramotoring over Lakes and Chateaux's to quiet Spa Sessions sessions, yoga, riverside walks and great local food, we wanted to create a place where guests can truly switch off and enjoy life at a slower pace. Hosting gives us the chance to meet wonderful people and share the beauty of this region.

we chose this area because it immediately felt like home. The light, the River, the quiet lanes and soft rolling hills all create a calming, grounding energy. Its the kind of place where you wake up to be bird songs, breath in fresh country air and feel close to nature from the moment you arrive. We love the freedom and simplicity of life here.. Gentle riverside walks, Kayaking, caving, cycling , swimming in near by lakes, visiting beautiful market towns and villages and enjoying some of the best food and wine in France. Its peaceful without feeling ever remote, and every nr by town has its own charm and character. ( check out Brantome).
This region allows us to live a life centred around nature, well-being and community - and sharing that sence of calm with our guests is one of the things we enjoy most.

Its a Rare Feature for a country side holiday home and offers guests the chance to enjoy a boutique wellness experience in total privacy. Optional yoga or massage sessions can also be arranged to create a personalised retreat.
The Farmhouse itself Blends 18th Century character with modern comfort. Spacious rooms, high quality finishes, extremely comfortable beds and relaxed shabby chic style make the house feel warm, inviting and homely. Thick stone walls and ceiling fans keep naturally cool throughout the summer months.
Set besides a peaceful riverside with miles of walks from the door, the property is wonderfully tranquil while still being close to villages, restaurants and ammonites. with Beautiful lakes, medieval towns, Kayaking caving and great food nearby, its a place where guests can unwind and reconnect.
