On the terrace you can enjoy the sun from early in the morning until late at night and the beautiful view of the surrounding mountain areas. In summer the area is known for its many peaks and not far from the cabin is Skogshorn, the most famous mountain in Hemsedal. There are also miles of biking and hiking trails right outside the door. In winter, Hemsedal Ski Center is about 20 minutes away by car and has been voted the best ski center in Norway for years in a row. In the area 400 meters away there are also long and beautiful cross-country trails, both in the forest and in the high mountains, there is something for everyone. There are several cafes along the cross-country trails, so you can take a coffee and waffle break along the way.
