In summer, you can explore the beautiful nature by hiking, swimming in the fjord, cycling or trying your luck at fishing in one of the 50 or so lakes in the region. You can also visit the Ål Feriepark with its climbing park and other activities for the whole family. In winter, Ål turns into a ski resort and it's only a short drive to Geilo, Gol and Hemsedal. If you feel like tobogganing, take a trip to Skarslia, where Norway's largest tobogganing centre is located.
