The location of the villa is clearly high in the hills affording good views, however the quality of the roads providing access to the villa is appalling, there is no mention of this on the listing and is therefore misleading. We did check this before arrival, and were reassured access was easy, we can only assume the agency staff were very inexperienced because their response was quite inaccurate. We were so disappointed by the location we moved out after 1 night. The agency offered no assistance or support even though we did ask. Book carefully.

We loved our stay at Cortijo Martin. The villa is spotless, comfortable and has all the amenities required for a comfortable stay. Check in and check out was seamless. The views from the villa are stunning & it is a great location. It peaceful, relaxing and very private. Although it is a great location access to the villa on a difficult road. If you’re a confident driver I don’t think this poses a problem. Car hire is a must to access. Host communicates very quickly however it is best to contact the customer service team directly as I didn’t get a response from them going through the host but did get a very quick response when I contacted them directly. Overall we loved our stay here. Nerja and the surrounding towns are stunning.

Schöne Villa mit kleinen Mängeln, herrliche Aussicht und ruhig gelegen

Vorab haben wir sehr gute Instruktionen zum Haus und der Lage geschickt bekommen. Die Strasse war in keinem Navi zu finden, aber über die GPS-Koordinaten findet man den Weg. Um die Nebenstrasse, die in einem fürchterlichen(!) Zustand ist, auf 2 Km zu verkürzen, bleibt man nach Torrox noch ca. 3 Kilometer auf der MA-5105 und biegt dann erst rechts ab. An den meisten Stellen ist diese „Strasse“ so eng, dass keine 2 Autos vorbei passen. Die Einrichtung des Hauses ist wie auf den Fotos, allerdings sind einige Möbel doch sehr alt und abgenutzt. Die Bäder sind ebenfalls sehr alt und die Duschen sollten wirklich erneuert werden. Die Zimmer sind sehr klein, was wir auf den Fotos nicht erkannt haben, obwohl alle Fotos korrekt sind. Die Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht, allerdings ist fast kein Platz, wenn man Lebensmittel einkauft, um selbst zu kochen. Die Highlights der Villa sieht man sehr gut auf den Fotos. Der Aussenbereich ist sehr schön. Der Pool war Ende Oktober zwar schon etwas frisch, aber aufgrund der noch hohen Temperaturen eine gute Erfrischung. Die Aussicht ist herrlich und die Villa ist sehr ruhig gelegen, sodass man gut entspannen kann.

Bon séjour mais accès difficile.

Après une heure de recherche pour arriver dans cet endroit très mal indiqué , nous avons eu une très bonne surprise en découvrant la maison et surtout ses extérieurs . En effet une vue magnifique , des extérieurs très bien agencés et une piscine privée. L'intérieur de la maison est fonctionnel , 3 chambres correctes dont une avec salle de bains privée et une autre salle de bains pour les deux autres chambres. Cuisine bien aménagée . Parking à l intérieur de la maison pour une voiture. Endroit très calme mais très difficile d'accès car route non stabilisée et longue et doit être pris en compte pour cette réservation. Sinon après vous avez une vue magnifique sur les environs . Le centre ville n'étant pas à coté (20 mn ) prévoir tout ce qu il vous faut .

We have just returned from an excellent and very relaxing holiday at Villa Cortijo Martin. The Villa is very comfortable. Air Conditioning in all bedrooms, well-equipped kitchen and utility rooms, cleaning service once a week. The pool was the lovely and perfect temperature in September. Fantastic view of a beautiful part of Costa Del Sol. Nerja and Torrox had nice restaurants which are only a short drive away from the villa. We found nice friendly locals there helping us with directions and places to visit. Recommended us to try their local specialties and most important their local wines. Very satisfied with everything, people, place, and the villa. See you next year.

Excellent location on the sea view villa and private outside space. A really peaceful area but with good amenities within a short drive to Torrox. Found the service from the Agni team second to none and feel the cost for the weeks rent was very good value. Particularly impressed with the text message service offered which provided a very simple and efficient method to communicate and raise any queries that were responded to and resolved very quickly. Beautiful scenery when driving and exploring the local area. Most of our time we enjoyed ourselves at the beaches: Playa Calaceit, Playa Vilches and Playa Torrecilla...recommend trying the local food at the tavernas while you are there. We enjoyed our vacation very much and we will come back again to this lovely place.

The outside and pool area were magnificent and we all had our own privacy given the layout of the bedrooms and bathrooms. This is the first holiday we have had when we have not visited hotel resorts- and it was great to have ended up at such a well-thought-out and well-cared-for property. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor seating area with the most tremendous sea/landscape views. Its the perfect place for a relaxed holiday. WE WILL COME BACK!

The location fully met our wants to where we could do day-trips with ease and still have time to take advantage of the private pool and more local things to do. We had a great time there and were every day amazed by how lovely places are Torrox and Nerja. The villa is spotless, has more than everything you need, wonderful grounds, pool, views everything! Very satisfied that we booked this villa for our current holiday destination and we definitely book it again for the next year.

Perfect for a tranquil break and relax. I liked the area and views were appreciative. Bedrooms are a good size, plenty of towels. Villa is in a very peaceful and remote location only a 2-minute car trip from the bustling centre of Nerja which really comes alive each evening, with a huge choice of restaurants shops, supermarkets and entertainment.
