It was a great location. The beds were so comfortable and lots of amenities. Staff was do responsive. Loved the place, would highly recommend it.

Great location!

Large space for our family of 6 and super location close to restaurants and University of Glasgow. Also parking at the back was ideal!

Fabulous visit in an amazing location! Host is responsive and helped to solve an unexpected issue with the fridge quickly! Would definitely stay again!

Excellent experience

On arrival was able to enter the property a little early which made things a lot easier for us. Very lovely place to stay, would recommend to others. Overall a great experience.

Beautiful Flat, Great Location

Absolutely beautiful flat, exactly as pictured. Walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the subway. Property manager is responsive and helpful and the directions for the property are very clear. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the property.

Beautiful apartment on the west end by the university. Close to the subway and walking distance to a bunch of interesting places. Was absolutely awesome!

Delightful apartment

We arrived at night and found it very difficult to access the keys in the lockbox. The apartment is spacious, luxurious and clean. Unfortunately, we were unable to download the host’s guidebook and missed out on some vital info. Beautiful spot with lots within walking distance.

6 of us stayed for 4 nights Jul/Aug 2026 for the commonwealth games. The apartment is architecturally wonderful and in a great location. Although it was clean and well stocked with staples such as loo rolls, dishwasher tabs, it lacked some basic maintenance - the carpet edges near the doors weren't secured properly, there were only 5 knives for eating meals, only one shelf in the oven, a curtain hanging off the rail in a main bedroom (destroying the blackout effect), blinds which couldn't be raised in the other main bedroom meaning it was gloomy. A major problem was the uncomfortable mattresses in the bunk room - which we raised with the owner the first morning of our visit - nothing was done during our stay to help this situation despite reminders. This lack of action was indicative of the appalling communication channel: yes we got very cheesy (ai generated no doubt) invitations to 'reach out' if we had any difficulties or requirements but when we did ask for action on the mattresses and for a second set of keys there was no meaningful response. Eventually we got a second set of keys on our 3rd evening but no action at all on the mattresses. Using the key lock box is not easy due to it's position - we arrived in torrential rain and spent a good 5 minutes trying to line the numbers up whilst leaning sideways over a handrail. In the dark it was even worse needing someone to shine a light whilst the other fiddled with the numbers.

We are, however, sorry that several aspects of your stay did not meet the standard we aim to provide. We fully acknowledge the points you have raised regarding the carpet edging, kitchen equipment, oven shelf, curtain and blinds, and we will be reviewing these items with our operational team to ensure they are addressed appropriately. With regard to the mattresses in the bunk room, we are sorry that they were not comfortable for you. We did take your comments seriously when they were raised during your stay. Mattress comfort can, of course, be quite personal, and as we have not received similar feedback from previous guests, we will continue to monitor this closely. Replacing mattresses is also not something that can be actioned immediately, as it involves sourcing appropriate replacements and coordinating the necessary operational arrangements, particularly where more than one mattress may be required. That said, your feedback has been noted and will certainly be taken into consideration. We also acknowledge that the second set of keys should have been provided to you earlier in your stay. We apologise again for the delay, particularly as you had specifically requested them. We understand how frustrating this must have been. Finally, we are sorry to hear that you found the communication during your stay disappointing. We aim to be responsive and helpful whenever guests contact us, and it is clear from your experience that we did not achieve that on this occasion. Your comments are valuable in helping us identify where our processes and communication need to improve. Thank you again for your feedback. Family in Hillhead

This is a spacious property with a modern kitchen & bathroom, but still retaining period features. It is in a premium neighbourhood with great retail, but with some hills to navigate. It is also close to two subway stations to get to the city centre quickly. The only improvements I could suggest would be to have an extra set of towels, some dish towels to dry hand-washed dishes, and a few Nexpresso pods to start, as these have to be purchased in the city centre.

Not what we expected

We were very disappointed when we first walked into the facility. There were loose wires hanging from the walls, water spots on the walls, dirty used sponges in the kitchen and dirt on the floors. Probably one of the dirtiest rental places we have ever stayed in. It was a shame because the apartment could be a show place.

Disappointed

Beautiful property with beautiful finishings but sadly wasn’t clean and no basics available ie bin bags, washing up liquid , hand soap, coffee pods, dishwasher tablets… Owner offered to bring these the following day but we needed them now so went to the local shop. Inconvenient for a short stay and not what we expected from this standard of accommodation

DO NOT RENT THIS SUITE. I don't believe I've ever been so disappointed in a rental property, ever. In fact, the evening we arrived we started looking for another hotel to check into. I would go so far as to describe it as disgusting; stains on carpets, area rug, chairs and sofa and (to feel comfortable sitting on the sofa we used the comforters from the spare bedroom). The curtain in the bedroom was hanging off its hooks. Gouges and shoddy patchwork and dirt on the walls throughout the entire apartment, water stains on the walls in multiple locations, cob webs that are weeks, if not months old, a towel with a disgusting stain on it. A massive wad of hair on the bathtub tap.The laundry room had to be tidied and organized before I washed the clothes as the highchair, mob, broom and pail were just tossed in the room and I couldn't access the washer until I organized it. I was only able to upload 8 photos but have 20 in total. The thing that is even worse than all of what I've already mentioned is the deceptiveness of the whole situation. The pictures posted absolutely DO NOT reflect the state of the apartment and to be deceived like this is reprehensible.
Stains on the carpets and on the area rug
Cob webs throughout
Massive wad of air around the bathtub tap and the drain plug was also broken.
Stains on the sofas and dining chairs.

The house was in a great location and filled all our needs. Beds comfy and lots of space. Shower was nice and powerful too. One problem with a missing curtain but was resolved quickly. Host was great at communicating.
