We loved this house for its large amount of space (one bedroom is far removed from the others so my parents could be away from the street noise and the grandkids). We also found it to be a great central location for exploring the island each day. Parking lot just up the street was very convenient to park our rental car, and a small store was within walking distance with essentials. Plumbing is a bit rustic, but disposing paper in the trash cans was easy. Manuel was very communicative and helpful. We loved our stay!

If you are going to São Miguel Açores, stay here!

This is an incredible gem in a the treasure that is Açores. Manuel was the most gracious and accommodating host. Amazing communicator, quick with responsiveness to needs, very thoughtful and proactive and overall very cordial and kind. The home is an amazing flat with so much space, a ton of amenities and located in an excellent place on the island. If I ever make it back to São Miguel, this will be my preferred stay.

We were most of the time 6 very close old friends and the house was perfect for us. There are five bedrooms and three shower/toilets rooms, so each couple had one. There are multiple groups areas: a dinning room table for 8 in the fully enclosed "outside" room (where there were three couches); kitchen counter seats and separate dinner/breakfast table for 8 in the area adjacent to the fridge/oven/sinks; a TV room with two couches, where we watched one of the World Cup games. The bedrooms are spacious, two with ocean views; lots of fans and air conditioning units (which we never had a need to use). The showers all had endless hot water with high pressure. The host was ultra responsive, answered all questions swiftly. Large grocery store within five minutes drive; a small food shop 3 minutes walk down the street. For a pet, the back garden is fully enclosed by white walls. There's a clothes line and a washing machine, both of which we used. The airport is 13 minutes away. Everything is easily accessible. We have rented Vrbo houses in Berlin, Rome, Stirling, and Freudenstadt, and would rate this one the best after Scotland. We would rent this one on Sao Miguel again, no hesitation. Now, for the only negatives: like many village places, the street runs next to the front. The front two bedrooms (again, there are 5) are not for light sleepers; the front doorway could be a challenge for small children. It's ideal for three adult couples, but can accommodate up to 10.

Good property

Difficult to find from information given but very helpful owners. The house was very spacious and a lovely back garden with bbq and plenty of outside furniture. The house is on busy road and the noise is noticeable except for the back bedroom and kitchen. The noise did subside during the night but morning and evening were busy. Lovely area to explore.

Nous avons séjourné dans cette maison au début août 2025. Nous étions 7 personnes, la maison est bien divisée chacun a son intimité. Les airs climatisés sont bien situés. Nous avons bien aimé notre séjour. Manuel est très serviable et dévoué à notre bien-être. Il est un super hôte !
