Lovely cottage in a beautiful little village with an amazing Italian restaurant just a few minutes walk away. The cottage was beautifully clean with lots of lovely homely touches for both humans and dogs!

A really fabulous little place with some marvellous walks from the door. Everything you could possibly need is provided (even straighteners and a hair dryer!!). Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to escape from everything.

Lovely accommodation exactly as described .

Lovely accommodation exactly as described . Good dog walks from the house and a nice Italian down the road . Otherwise we jumped in the car , to Howden, lovely to visit, went to York and Hull for days out . Great to come home to the lovely cozy accommodation . Would definitely recommend if you are xx looking for a quiet base , with plenty to do in driving distance .

Nice house in a quiet village.

Nice house in a quiet village. Barmby on the Marsh is on a no through road so you have to drive 5-10 minutes to get to the A63. The open plan kitchen/diner/seating area was great with the option of the separate lounge though the lounge has no radiator and could be cold. The kitchen is well equipped and there are dog bowls, treats and a basket of dog toys, much appreciated. The bedrooms are large with loads of storage. The garden is fully enclosed and is paved with a decking area with table and chairs. There is a super bar/Italian restaurant (Lorenzos) in the village which also sells a few basic essentials, we had a lovely meal here. There are lovely walks along the river Derwent direct from the cottage.
