This stylish top-floor residence in Chalet Rose in Wengen is settled in the quiet idyll of Alpine bliss delivering breathtaking views of the mountains and the Lauterbrunnen Valley. An undeniably magical way to reconnect and revivify.



The enchanting cogwheel railway journey from Lauterbrunnen to the car limited resort of Wengen takes 11 minutes and the chalet is a comfortable 475 meter walk from the train station. Taxis are also available.



The open-plan living-dining-kitchen has it all - chalet-style wooden beamed ceiling, Scandinavian log burner, Alpine chalet-style furnishings, panoramic floor to ceiling windows and doors, west facing balcony with alfresco dining and “to die for” views.



Why not strike a match to the Scandinavian log burner and settle in for one seductively slow evening in the warmth of the flickering flames with the smart-TV and Bose speakers to keep you company. Or while away sunny days on the balcony with a glass of wine enchanted by the mountains, the sunset and the evening moonlight.



The fully-equipped kitchen is ideal for “home” cooking and entertaining and adjoins the dining space with massive wooden table adorned with sheepskins. A charming setting for family dining.



The cosy master bedroom features a queen-size bed whilst the second bedroom has two single beds. The family bathroom with bathtub serves both bedrooms. The property can accommodate four guests in total (maximum 2 adults please).



Uplifting and energising, Chalet Rose Penthouse Residence is designed for all seasons, bringing the outside in on warm days, while hunkering down fireside of a winter’s eve is a real indulgence.



• Complimentary use of the Central Sport ski, board and boot depot. The depot is located adjacent to the Männlichen cable car within the shop and offers places for more than 1,000 skis, boards and boots. The depot is supervised and is open at the same time as the shop. Every depot space is numbered and a boot drying system is installed.

The Perfect Swiss Getaway

This apartment was absolutely stunning and I didn’t realize how helpful Alpine Holiday Services would be when I booked it. They provided a shuttle upon arrival and departure and were very friendly. The apartment itself was very modern and clean with the most stunning views of the entire Lauterbrunnen Valley. We used this place as our home base for a week to explore the entire Jungfrau Region - taking day trips to Grindelwald, Mürren, Lauterbrunnen, Lucerne, and more. Wengen itself is a very quiet town that is very walkable if you don’t mind some steep roads. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Stunning accommodation and view

Stunning view. Very well equipped apartment and comfortable beds. Easily the best holiday accommodation I’ve ever stayed in. Fridge and freezers need to be on BEFORE guests arrive. We had bought frozen and fresh food and it can take hours and hours for a fridge or freezer to come to temperature Also consider offering a recycling collection service.

Incredible views in a beautiful location

The view from our little deck and living room was absolutely gorgeous. The team at Alpine Holiday Services was top notch. Beds were comfortable. The furniture was comfortable and sufficient. The back and forth to the main area of town was not easy. Although transport was available for one round trip to the main area, it only operated at certain times. Also, very easy to bang your head on the eaves. But that being said, our priority was the view, and that was fantastic. Also, we were so happy we chose to stay in Wengen. Would have been nice to have paper towels. But your team was super, and I would recommend renting from you in a heartbeat.

Balcony Views of Valley

My husband and I adored our 3 night stay in Wengen. The views from this apartment are maybe our favorite pictures from our whole Switzerland trip. Wengen is so quaint and peaceful and such an easy ride to Lauterbrunnen. The fireplace was very cozy and coffee on the balcony can’t be beat. The train station is up a pretty steep hill, but the company drove us when we had luggage. Thank you!!! We hope to come back!! Having some coffee for the nespresso machine. Having some outlet converters to borrow.

Cozy with a view

Well-equipped, pleasant cabin feel with a view! Penthouse has slanted roof so sometimes you need to hunch over in the rooms. The company was responsive with questions and helpful with driving us to and from the train station (although not enthusiastic about it), it would’ve been difficult to walk ourselves given the hilly, narrow roads.
