The owners (Jack and Greg) have thought of absolutely everything to make one's stay as perfect as possible. This beautifully renovated duplex is on a very quiet street in a great location. You can easily access the T, and you are only a short walk from the Public Gardens, the Prudential Center, and the Freedom Trail. The duplex is completely updated and has a comfortable sofa and chairs and the most comfy bed. But what really makes this place special is the owner's attention to detail. We arrived to find the fridge stocked with a bottle of wine, milk, juice, yogurt and some fruit. There were snacks in the cabinet and a bowl of Reese's peanut butter cups on the counter. The bathroom cabinet has anything you may have forgotten. Nightlights have been strategically place throughout the rental. It is a very welcoming atmosphere. We have stayed in a lot of rentals, but this is truly our favorite. Anyone renting should be aware that since the building was built in the 1800's, the stairs are steeper and narrower than modern stairs. We thought the stairs added to the wonderful atmosphere of the duplex, but for someone with knee issues, they may present a challenge.
Thank you Jack and Greg for making us feel so welcome and sharing your duplex with us. If we are ever back in Boston, we will definitely stay here again and we will be recommending your rental to all our family and friends.
