We love old homes and this was such a lovely home for our Boston adventure! Everything needed in a home is provided and the location has so many restaurants, convenience stores and shopping within walking distance. Copley Park is right around the corner and train stops are very close. Days were spent doing walking tours in the North End and the Freedom trail, train rides to Boston College, and driving to Salem and Gloucester. Parking should definitely be planned as there is no street parking available, but a parking garage is nearby and easily walkable (40/day). Communication with our host was excellent!

Exceptional Stay in Quiet Location

The location was outstanding offering easy access to all attractions and public transportation, all while being situated on a quiet street. The host was the best I've ever encountered-extremely responsive and attentive to all our needs. I was concerned about parking since we drove in, but the garage was only 2 blocks away and secure. Dropping off luggage first at the house was no problem. Would stay here again and recommend.

South End Boston Spring(board)!

This host obviously pays attention to the details of making one FEEL welcomed upon arrival. The unit offers an immersion experience in the South End/Back Bay part of Boston, with easy access to the T. I would absolutely stay here again; we barely got started with what's to see and do at your doorstep. It's a relaxing place to come back to at the end of every adventure.

Comfortable, cozy, perfectly appointed. Jack was wonderful upon check-in and I really appreciated the welcome amenities. Amazing neighborhood and walkability; close to T and Logan tranportation options. 10/10 would stay again when back in town.

Amazing

Absolutely amazing stay. My husband and I have rented numerous VRBOs through the years and this one, hands down, was the best. The apartment was beautiful and super clean. Location was perfect. Just a very short walk to the T. Above all, the host was superb! I am 100% going to stay here again and would highly recommend this rental.

Super convenient location!

Great location and the residence was equipped with everything to make your stay comfortable. Host was very thoughtful in supplying some snacks and drinks although we had already bought stuff before arriving. Music was on when we entered providing a very welcoming experience. Hope to return!

Walkable, luxury, charm

The hospitality was unbeatable. Jack provided an attention to detail I haven't experienced in other VRBO properties. Fresh flowers everywhere, stocked fridge, wine, down to the lighting on the stairs! I adored my stay here. Extremely walkable location, gorgeous historic property, with amazing hosts. I just left and I already want to go back!

Charming, quiet, and comfortable

Loved our stay at this charming brownstone on a quiet street. Very close to an excellent sandwich and coffee shop, transit, and restaurants. The host went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met. This is a historic property, so the doorways are narrow and the steps a bit steep. We found it very navigable and felt right at home. We will be back! Note that the Logan Back Bay express bus to/from the airport is a quick trip for $3 a person!

Paradise

If you want to truly experience the city of Boston you need to live like a local. This perfectly appointed brownstone did not disappoint! Super clean, small/quaint/cozy but plenty of space. Great outdoor courtyard patio area. We can’t wait to return!! And if you want the best night sleep ever you are going to love the bed! Mattress/bedding were heavenly.

Perfect spot!

This was the cutest historic apartment in a great location. We were walking distance from many restaurants, shops, and public transportation. Everything felt very safe walking in day or night. We loved the sitting in the back patio relaxing and the wonderful hospitality. Snacks and some food were provided (cheese/meat/crackers, wine, OJ, milk, and candy). The apartment felt like a home. We are so happy to have stayed here.

Simply the best

This was without a doubt the best VRBO experience we have ever had. Jack and Greg have an immaculate, well-appointed property in a great Boston location. They thought of everything, from supplies to food and drink, and even bought us a cake for our anniversary! From fresh cut flowers to ice cream in the freezer, we were made to feel like old friends from the outset. A wonderful stay. We’ll be back!

Boston Beauty

The location, the hosts and all the little extras were top notch! It was so welcoming to be greeted with a bottle of wine and other little culinary treats — they even had a darker make-up towel( now that is really going above & beyond). The only caveat would be the bathroom and bedroom are on different levels- it was fine for us , but if you were to have mobility issues it might be challenging I couldn’t be any more effusive about how perfect this stay was. Two thumbs way up!

Perfectly located Brownstone

Just as described. Clean and lovely home suitable for a couple. We stayed 6 nights here and really enjoyed our time. Nice little patio area to enjoy as well. We walked all over Boston from here. Walkable and safe to downtown, the harbor & Fenway. Located in Back Bay which has plenty of places to see and grab meals and drinks. Walkable to the Charles River with the river walk. I could go on and on. Great hosts with excellent communication. Loved all the extras left for us. Definitely would stay here again. Just a note for anyone with mobility issues there are steep stairs from the entry level to the living area. Enjoy!

Elegant Hideaway in the Heart of the Hub

We were hoping for that combination of quaint Boston brownstone on a charming street, quiet but with easy access to all the city’s best loved experiences. We found it here! Tucked on a narrow street in the South End, Jack’s flat was a delight from the minute he welcomed us in. Light and comfortable accommodations, and a hidden gem of tiny garden made us feel cozy and at ease. The amenities were all there, including cheese, crackers, and wine. The sweetest touch, though, was my husband’s little birthday cake. What a nice touch, guys! When a host can make you feel like guests instead of renters, it makes the world of difference. Thanks - may we please come again?

Can't wait to return!

Most VRBO places are fine... but this wonderfully decorated Victorian rowhouse is way beyond fine! This place felt like home. The owners allowed us to drop off our suitcases early so that we could return our rental car at Logan - no need for one in the city with Uber, Lyft, etc. Bedroom is on the same level as the entry with the living area one floor below. The stairs are a bit steep, but we managed just fine, even with knee replacements. Nicely stocked kitchen and fridge. That was a pleasant surprise. Plenty of room for two up and down. And the outdoor patio is a bonus. We would not hesitate to return to this address and have already started recommending it to our friends and relatives. The owners live in the same rowhome. They were easily accessible when needed but not intrusive. They gave recommendations for wonderful restaurants (Picco for delicious pizza - delivered!) and left us a folder with many options. Berkley Perk Cafe at the end of Lawrence St. had good coffee, yummy biscotti, and breakfast bagel sandwiches for a good price and tasty too! The rowhome is on a one-way quaint street. The neighborhood feel and quiet street in the middle of Boston made for an unexpected oasis. This will be our home away from home in Boston from now on!

Book this rental - you will love it!

The owners (Jack and Greg) have thought of absolutely everything to make one's stay as perfect as possible. This beautifully renovated duplex is on a very quiet street in a great location. You can easily access the T, and you are only a short walk from the Public Gardens, the Prudential Center, and the Freedom Trail. The duplex is completely updated and has a comfortable sofa and chairs and the most comfy bed. But what really makes this place special is the owner's attention to detail. We arrived to find the fridge stocked with a bottle of wine, milk, juice, yogurt and some fruit. There were snacks in the cabinet and a bowl of Reese's peanut butter cups on the counter. The bathroom cabinet has anything you may have forgotten. Nightlights have been strategically place throughout the rental. It is a very welcoming atmosphere. We have stayed in a lot of rentals, but this is truly our favorite. Anyone renting should be aware that since the building was built in the 1800's, the stairs are steeper and narrower than modern stairs. We thought the stairs added to the wonderful atmosphere of the duplex, but for someone with knee issues, they may present a challenge. Thank you Jack and Greg for making us feel so welcome and sharing your duplex with us. If we are ever back in Boston, we will definitely stay here again and we will be recommending your rental to all our family and friends.

You're just blocks from the Westin Copley, The Fairmont, The Sheraton and the Hynes Convention Center!
