Located in a quiet side road in the heart of Canford Cliffs, moments from the village centre with its delightful choice of cafes, coffee shop, bakeries, restaurants and a several gastropubs. 5 min stunning woodland walk to award winning blue flag beaches and a childrens Pirate Ship playground. Ideal luxury family holiday with an amazing location that allows you to enjoy the beach and entire holiday by foot. Free parking provided.

The space
A Victorian building, lovingly restored and renovated with a perfect location to enjoy the areas of Sandbanks, Poole and Bournemouth. Whilst oozing character and charm in its exterior appearance this property boasts a modern/classic interior with new, quality, high end furniture and fittings throughout. 2 beautifully appointed double bedrooms (1 with Juliet balcony) incorporating built in wardrobes, dressing tables, bed side tables and double beds. Fllat screen smart tv in main bedroom.

Additional quality fold away single bed can be made up in the master bedroom, please provide 7 days notice if required to enable assembly and fresh bed linen ready for your arrival. All feather free, highest quality mattresses and bed linen.

Outstanding dual aspect kitchen/living room with sliding patio doors secured by wrought iron railings, fully equipped kitchen with AEG appliances, dining table and chairs, highest quality leather sofa and armchairs facing flat screen smart tv and not to forget a small desk area for those who cannot leave their work behind! The hallway area provides a laundry cupboard housing a combined washer/dryer and night safe for your valuables. Stunning shower room and separate cloakroom all with high end Duravit fittings.

This property sits adjacent to but completely independent of its sister property 'Beach Retreat One' which is also available for rental on Vrbo, providing a further 2 bed apartment which may be of interest to those with larger families or 2 families wishing to holiday together.

We visit the Bournemouth area quite regularly, and particularly enjoy the Sandbanks area. However, the hotels in the locale are limited and quite dated. There is also a lack of apartments to rent. So finding this lovely hideaway in Canford Cliffs, just a short walk from a sandy beach was a real treat. The apartment is very cosy and welcoming, with a nice clean decor and all the conveniences you'd need for a short stay. Restaurants (Baffi pizza is a no-brainer for pizza lovers) and Tesco Express are 2 minutes away. There is a good choice of coffee and also a nice (not cheap) deli. If you fancy a bus, the stop is very close. Nicola is super responsive and helpful, which makes the whole experience stress-free. We hope to come back soon!

Birthday celebration

We had a fabulous three days in Canford Cliffs. The property was perfect and in a great location , ideally placed between beach and shops. The Village bakery sells the best sandwiches and rolls to take to the beach at amazingly reasonable cost. We ate one evening at Baffi with our Italian son in law who was suitably impressed. The other evening we ate at Rick Steins in Sandbanks, expensive but worth every penny - a rare thing to say these days ! Thank you Nicola for your lovely apartment.

Perfect location

We had booked this apartment as we were attending a friends 60th birthday party at the Italian villas, which ended up being a surprise wedding. There were 4 adults.Plenty of room, great layout, really clean and decorated lovely. Great location to pubs/restaurants and to thevenue all in walking distance. Also walking distance to tesco for a few essentials. Check-in and out was easy. Would definitely use again .

A little Gem!

What a lovely apartment in an incredible location. We spent 3 nights at the Beach Retreat for our wedding anniversary. The location is so central. We enjoyed coffee and a bacon sandwich at the coffee shop on the little High street just around the corner and a wonderful meal at The Cliff pub which is a minutes walk away. We ventured into Sandbanks to try out Rick Steins restaurant which didn’t disappoint. Stunning views, service and food! A lovely treat. We both thoroughly recommend booking this property for not only how lovely it is but also for where it is. We’ll be back! Thank you Nicola

Perfect Holiday Break

This is our second stay in Beach Retreat 2 and we loved it just as much as the first time as our first visit. The host Nicola, is very helpful and goes the extra mile to make your stay perfect. The apartment has everything you need, is high spec, fully equipped and very comfortable, and the location is just off the high street with a number of restaurants, coffee shops, bakery etc. all in easy reach. Lastly the lovely sandy Canford Cliffs beach is also within walking distance.

Nicely kitted-out and comfy!

We had a lovely week in Canford Cliffs and contacted the host, Nicola, a number of times before our stay. She was very attentive and responsive and followed through on our requests. Apartment is clean, very comfy, nice bathrooms and has all you would need for a short stay. Beach location is great, the village has all you need and the parking at The Cliff is a benefit, but in reality outside of the weekends, there is plenty of road parking and the car park that is close by is cheap enough to park an extra car as we did. Thanks for the stay, we will be back!

Delightful

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in beach retreat 2, Nicola is a great host, excellent communication and great support with regards to the booking process and the apartment itself is just perfect, home from home. The beach is a 5-10 minute walk away and Canford Cliffs is a wonderful beach. Canford Cliffs village is literally round the corner from the apartment and has everything you need from a great coffee shop and a number of great restaurants. I can only highly recommend this property and we are already planning to book again.

The area is blessed with outstanding natural beauty, award winning beaches and is one of the top places in the UK for watersports. My family are generally found on or in the water regardless of the weather! We love swimming, surfing wake boarding and water skiing.

We took over the Beach Retreat Apartments 1 & 2 in July 2022 and are excited to start welcoming guests to our local area.

Stunning blue flag beaches and a childrens playground are only a 400m woodland walk away. Avoid the traffic congestion and crowds on the Sandbanks peninsular and base yourself where the locals go!
