Drummond Base is a modern, self contained studio on the ground floor of a modern detached house, situated in a quiet road overlooking Swanage bay,
Ideally located for the many amenities Swanage has to offer.
Within walking distance of beach, shops, restaurants, pubs, south west coastal path, Durlston Country Park and Swanage steam railway.
In this spacious pet friendly studio, with its own access, you will find a king size bed, two large sofas, smart TV, dining table and chairs.
The kitchenette provides full size fridge, microwave/grill/oven combi, toaster and kettle.
This is the ideal base for couples looking to explore Swanage and the surrounding area.

Absolutely perfect for a seaside getaway ,so new , clean and the smallest of touches by the host made it very homely Rosalind was always on hand for any questions we had ,would definetely return and dog walking was excellent

Superb studio apartment situated in excellent position just above Swanage bay and close to Durlston Country Park. The apartment has everything you need and the host left her contact number if you needed anything (which we didn’t). Cannot praise it enough

There is not a hob listed on the property details. Prior to your stay you asked if there was a hob, to which I responded “The studio has a small and very basic kitchenette. There isn’t a hob. Full details are on the Vrbo description of the property. It is very unfair of you to reduce my overall rating over something that is clearly stated on the property description, details of which I had confirmed at your request by email. Please people, fully view property descriptions before booking!

Great little place for a few days. Good location in Swanage, not far from the main centre. Steep hills so good to have a car if you aren't so mobile. Really lovely apartment, totally clean and comfy. Loved our stay and would totally recommend.

Great place so clean just perfect for a short break only negative thing for me was it’s at the top of hills nice to walk down to the beach but I couldn’t walk back due to bad knees and back but Uber was only 5 so not a problem would definitely stay again

The property was exactly as described. Clean modern and well appointed. Good to have a parking space. There was an impressive array of literature giving information about the area including OS maps.Ros , the owner, was especially helpful before I left home on as I did not have ready access to the internet for a week or so before arrival .The property is at the top of a steepish hill overlooking Swanage so any visitor who had walking limitations would need to know that they should drive down into the town to avoid a steep walk back.

Such a lovely stay with my dog. Everything was excellent. The design of the studio apartment was very well done and to a high quality standard. It was very comfortable and a relaxing to stay. Very clean. Great tv, shower and underfloor heating. Great to have a parking space and private entrance at the side of the house/apartment. Lovely location - yes it is very hilly but good exercise and lovely views. The host, Ros, was very helpful and responsive when needed. Thank you for a lovely stay. Highly recommended.

A lovely, well equipped modern studio apartment, set high above Swanage town centre.We enjoyed our short stay which was comfortable and very peaceful. It is quite a hike back uphill from the town but is doable!
