Arrived to find balcony closed with a sign taped to the door stating the balcony was closed since Feb. 07 due to construction. 7 or 8 pcs of rusted balcony furniture (some large) was strewn throughout the main living area with scaly rust shards flaked off in the floor & carpet to greet bare feet. Had to physically remove the balcony furniture to the atrium in order to move about without hinderance. Contacted CS several times & got the run-around. They mislead about the reason for it being closed 1st saying it was for "balcony leveling work" & later saying there had been a recent scaffolding mishap & the "property" had ordered the closure of all balconies. Became apparent from observation & talking with other residents that many balconies were open / being used, & that our circumstance was due to poor handling of the matter between management & construction, both using each other as an excuse to let this happen. No access to a seaside balcony and living areas filled with tattered, rusting patio furniture is a huge takeaway especially when you realize there's no reason for it other than neglect & the remote CS that is quick to make excuses & refer you back to agreement disclaimers.
Overall, the stay was very nice except for the ongoing construction. Probably built in late 80's, "Under Construction" should be emphasized. This phase appears to be painting which is also subject to accumulate on your car which is also disclaimed.
It's the little things that add up..1.) Random malfunctioning elevator buttons in both elevators. The button panels appear as old as the building & malfunction during high humidity. This was what we met upon arrival at 8PM stranding several families on the entryway over 15 minutes. 2.) The key box is at floor-level requiring one to either squat/bend completely over to access the keys.. not nice for any number of reasons. 3.) In the midst of meal-prep only to discover the can-opener is destroyed. 4.) The dining table is so wobbly care must be taken to avoid mishaps at meals. 5.) Certain central electrical outlets are non-working. 6.) The entry door mat is tattered & in pieces... 7.) Beware all public outdoor walk areas are tiled with slick12'' square ceramic tile - most always wet & treacherous.
Otherwise, the apt. was clean & comfortable except for the things mentioned. I imagine the owners have trouble keeping reliable staff to make the place perfect after every rental.
