Large, lovely vacation apartment on the first floor with a private entrance. Renovated in 2022, the kitchen features a vintage style. Large 50 m² rooftop terrace with patio furniture and a grill. There are two bedrooms: one with a double bed and one with a family bunk bed and a single bunk bed. There is also a double sofa bed in the kitchen/living room. A large ball court is available for play.
The house is located in Solbjerg and close to the Doll School, an exciting place featuring an exhibition of, among other things, 12,000 dolls, model cars, toys, and a large B&O collection.
Nykøbing is the island’s capital, home to about half of the island’s population. Here you’ll find Dueholm Kloster, the local history museum that tells the story of the people of Mors and also features rotating special exhibitions. The Danish Foundry Museum displays the old Morsø wood-burning stoves and cookstoves. The lovely pedestrian street connects the town to the harbor, which is bustling all summer long. Every evening at 9 p.m. during the season, you can watch the sun set over the marina. Nykøbing is also home to the Morsø Golf Club and its beautiful 18-hole golf course.
At the Fossil and Moler Museum, 55 million years of history are brought to life through the many discoveries made in the moler deposits on Mors. At the Skarregaard Agricultural Museum, time has stood still in the 1950s. The site is beautifully situated next to the two Skarresø lakes and features a wonderful nature playground. Visit Ejerslev Harbor and take a walk around the lagoon, where the moler cliffs rise high and where you’re welcome to try your luck as a fossil hunter. Hanklit, at 61 m, is probably the most famous moler cliff. Don’t miss out on a hike to the top to enjoy the view. Salgjerhøj is the highest point at 89 meters. From the summit, you can count up to 40 burial mounds, and on a clear day, 22 of the island’s 34 churches.
South of Nykøbing lies the scenic Legind Bjerge area, where the landscape changes almost with every step. It is also in this area that you’ll find Jesperhus Feriepark, offering experiences for the whole family.
The island of Mors offers enough experiences to fill many days.
