Design villa created by celebrated Italian architect Simone Micheli

Villa Aldia White has a special design heritage as the work of famed Italian architect Simone Micheli, a graduate from the Florence School of Architecture, where he now teaches. Micheli set up his own design company in 1990 with the avowed aim to “build sustainable works to qualify the landscape” and at Villa Aldia White that landscape centres on panoramic views of Tavolara.

The villa is a supremely stylish home, furnished with panache, with air conditioning, heating, Wi-Fi and four hours of daily housekeeping with additional staff available on request.

On Sardinia’s glorious northeast coast, 20 kms from Olbia airport and 10 kms from San Teodoro, Puntaldia faces the same stretch of azure Mediterranean Sea as Porto Cervo and Porto Rotondo. However, unlike those star-studded resorts further north in the same Gallura region, Puntaldia flies delightfully under the radar.
Villa Aldia White is a brand new, design villa within walking distance of the beaches, marina, golf club and shops and restaurants of Puntaldia. Spacious elegant accommodation with wonderful sea views.
Puntaldia might be below the radar but it is a hot address for those in the know. George Clooney and his wife Amal are among A-listers who have holidayed there, stepping out to the restaurants in the marina and appreciating the privacy and security that the resort offers.

With La Cinta to the south and Lu Impostu and Cala Brandinchi to the north, there’s no shortage of beautiful white-sand beaches. Water-based fun on the peninsula takes in diving, snorkelling, boat rental and windsurfing while the 385 yachts moored in Marina di Puntaldia have some of Europe’s cleanest waters to explore. Time your visit for one of the regular and well-attended annual regattas to see a true spectacle.
