Very True Ad

We were very impressed with all the amenities. Even during the heat wave, we were comfortable. My only issue would be for first time folks - learn to use the transit system. It really works great if you solve it. Get an oyster card (maybe even a visitor one) prior. Groceries easily available. The unit itself was impeccably clean and we loved it. Thanks for a great stay for first timers.

Too far from downtown London

Not too nice of a neighborhood, had noisy people above us late at night, shower was not clean, grout had what looked like mold. No coffee maker, end tables or coffee table. For reason after the first day we lost communication with owner on the Vrbo app.

Very good

A bit deceptive not to see the photos of the exact flat we were renting. Good location on a metropolitan line that bring us to the main districts of London. The exchanges with the owner were perfect (very good reactivity). Very nice and practical bathroom.

Bedingt empfehlenswert

Es ist eine kleine Ferienwohnung, mit einer zum Stockbett umbaubaren Couch und einer zum Doppelbett ausklappbaren Couch im Wohnzimmer. Dazu ein kleines Schlafzimmer mit einem schmalen Doppelbett (mit nur einer gemeinschaftlichen Matratze). Mit zwei Kindern lebt man also schon beengt, zu sechst ist es definitiv zu eng, zumal auch Schrank- und Ablageflächen fehlen. Die Wohnung verfügt über eine Waschmaschine, aber nicht über eine Spülmaschine. Die Küchenzeile ist aber insgesamt funktional. Eine Garderobe fehlt. Das Bad wirkt auf den ersten Blick hochmodern, ist aber auf den zweiten Blick schon stark abgenutzt. Die Regenwalddusche lässt man besser aus, sonst setzt man das gesamte Bad unter Wasser. Die direkt darüber liegende Lampe findet Wasser sicher ebenso wenig spannend, wie der Sicherungskasten, der sich hinter einer Holzklappe am anderen Ende der Dusche befindet. Dem Baujahr und der Lage geschuldet ist das Haus eng, schmal und schief. Es gibt leider nur drei schmale Fenster zum Belüften. Es ist eine Klimaanlage eingebaut, deren Abluftschlauch durch ein Loch in der Wand nach draußen geführt wird. So wirklich sauber war es nicht und es fehlten auch Dinge wie Besen und Staubsauger. Der Gastgeber ist im Vorfeld sehr kurzfristig erreichbar, Dinge können also schnell besprochen werden. Sehr nahliegend ist die lokale Einkaufs- und Gastronomie-Meile zu erreichen. Innerhalb von 10 Minuten ist man an der nächsten U Bahn Station (Jubilee-Line direkt bis nach Westminster).

Wonderful flat!

The flat is well situated a couple of blocks off of the Willesden High Street. It is a short walk to tube station, and there is a bus transit center very near, so transportation is really very easy. The flat was off a courtyard in the back of the house, and it was very peaceful and quiet. The flat has everything one may need for basic cooking (except coffee making), and it is very clean and well kept. Communication with the owner was fantastic. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone.

Clean and simple, easy access to city centre

Enjoyed 5 nights with the family day tripping to see sights. Nice to have a comfortable place to cook and have dinner each night as a family. Great access to transit options to get around the city easily. We would book again!

Great apartment -- just as advertised

The apartment was easy to find and was comfortable. It's layout can accommodate 6 people in a small space which would be perfect for a family. The neighborhood nearby has everything you could need and you will need for a longer stay. The owner was available when I had questions. I would not hesitate to recommend this apartment.

Clean and comfortable

Very nice apartment, clean and comfortable with everything you need. There were 5 of us and there were only 3 blankets for 3 beds, so we had to share blankets. But it wasn't that bad. It was a pleasant stay.

Had a great stay

Myself and my two teenage kids stayed here while in London. It is away from the touristy areas, so it was quiet. Close to many restaurants and grocery stores. 10 minute walk to the tube station. Had everything we needed and the host was great.

Séjour en famille à Londres

Excellent séjour en famille (à 5) dans un appartement bien équipé et bien situé. Les enfants ont bien dormi même si la lumière du jour les a réveillé tôt (stores non opaques). Le métro n’est pas loin, quelques resto sympa et de quoi faire des courses à deux pas. Joli bow window qui font le charme des maisons du coin.

Well kept property, very convenient location

Host was in touch prior to the stay, and also during the stay. Check-in instructions were very clear and accurate. The property was neat and clean, a quiet neighborhood and very close to bus stops. Train station is a short walk away also. There were ample restaurants and grocery at walking distance. We enjoyed the space that we had, it was a very relaxing stay. Thank you to the hosts.

2 Days in London

Overall my family and I enjoyed our stay! We didn’t have any complaints and Reuven was super responsive to any inquiries I had. The checkout was a little different from stays in the US where at home they detail out everything they expect from you during checkout so hoping we didn’t overlook anything when we did. Otherwise everything was as described!

Clean stay

The apartment was clean and the communication was great! The neighborhood was a bit sketchy and the commute into the city was long and costly. While the tube isn’t too bad you still have a 17 min walk to the station which adds a lot of time to your commute. I would definitely stay with this host again if they had closer places to the city center.

Einfach, gut und in ruhiger Lage

Abgesehen davon, dass der Code für die Haustür einen Tippfehler hatte, was ich aber mit etwas Nachdenken korrigieren konnte, lief alles gut. Die Wohnung war sauber und hatte alles, was benötigt wurde. Lediglich wäre es schön gewesen, wenn Eurostecker-Adapter vorhanden gewesen wären. Die konnte ich aber in der naheliegenden Geschäftsstraße günstig kaufen. Willesden Green ist gut mit der Underground zu erreichen, und im nahen Park auf der anderen Seite der Bahntrasse kann man gut laufen. Mit der Underground kommt man zügig ins Zentrum von London. Der Kontakt mit dem Gastgeber war bei kurzen Antwortzeiten und freundlichen Nachrichten gut.

A good experience

The positive aspects: - The apartment was clean and tidy. - Clear instructions for check in and use of the facilities. Good guidance for using the public transport. - The location is good for visiting London as a tourist. Its not central but the center can be reached easily and relatively quickly. - The host was very responsive and helpful when we asked for some extra bed linens. - The code system for accessing the apartment is very convenient. What could be improved: - The photos show a dishwasher in the kitchen, and the description says all flats have the same equipment. However our flat did not have a dishwasher. This was a bit disappointing. - There are no curtains, only blinds, which means that in summer it is difficult to keep the rooms dark in the early morning. - The WiFi was a little unreliable. - For longer stays it would be nice if housekeeping would be offered every few days, or some cleaning supplies made available.

Heat was broken and wifi was out

We were “upgraded” to a garden suite that was so cute. However, the heat was broken and although it was supposed to be repaired part of the way through our stay, it wasn’t. We were provided with portable heaters but it was almost impossible to regulate the heat and they were very loud when running and when trying to adjust the setting, they beeped so loudly it wasn’t worth it in the middle of the night for fear of waking people up. The wifi went out part way through our stay which made planning for the next days events difficult, and even though I believe that it was a British Telecom issue, there were no instructions on how to reset or reconnect the wifi included in the binder that was in our unit. The unit was clean, and the area was nice and close by the train for commuting to the city centre. We went to a couple of local restaurants in the area and the food was delicious and the staff/owners were lovely.

Tout juste parfait !

L'appartement que nous avons occupé etait tout juste parfait pour notre famille de 6 personnes. Propreté, praticité, proximité des transports (métro à 12 minutes à pied). Tout était parfait. La procédure d'arrivée est tout juste parfaite de même que le classeur present dans le logement pour tout expliquer. Je recommande +++
