This flat is excellent for the price and location; quiet, close to Finchley Road tube station, Waitrose, good cafes and excellent restaurants are all within easy walking distance and Mike is a superb host - could not be more helpful. We really only used the apartment as a place to sleep as we were out most of the day and evenings so we did not do any cooking in it - just made ourselves a cup of tea!

Fabulous location. 5 minutes to shops, one and overground trains. Buses also within 5 minutes walk. Very safe and secure apartment complex and family friendly.

Great location and a quiet, funky little flat. Michael was extremely accommodating and helpful. Easy walk to 2 tube stations, grocery shopping, great restaurants and shopping. Good for our family of 5.

Michael instantly made us feel like old friends. He was the perfect host and stayed in touch throughout, offering advice and great suggestions! The flat is very fun/funky — loads of art everywhere, which is why it’s not for small kids. But our teens loved it. Overall it’s genuinely a great location (depending on your walking speed, less than 10 minutes to the local shops and the Underground)!
Also lots of reading material!

Great location, peaceful area

Great spot in calm area of London,easy access to tube line and a waitrose or tesco express. Kids enjoyed being in a place with a lot of visual curiosities. Host responsive and helpful in orienting ourselves. Thank you for having us.

PROS:Michael is a friendly host and was responsive when arranging logistics prior to arrival. He met us on time to facilitate check in and walked us through the apartment. Location is great in a quiet neighbourhood and about a 10 minute walk to Finchley Road and tube station with restaurants and groceries nearby. Michael was accommodating and understanding when we had to cut our stay short and refunded us for the nights we didn’t end up staying (see below). The unit is spacious with a separate bedroom and living room area. Internet was fast. CONS:Cleanliness: while this is ultimately subjective, the unit was in dire need of a deep cleaning. Because the apartment had art and knick knacks from the host’s travels around the world, it also attracted a lot of dust. My son’s dust allergies prevented him from sleeping which was why we had to leave after 3 nights. The washer was unusable because of mold and odours. Mattress: the bed in the bedroom was acceptable (mattress box spring, no frame) but the sofa bed in the living room was not adequate for sleeping for adults. There was no mattress just a thin foam (akin to packing foam, not memory foam) on top of wooden planks and was shaped oddly as it was comprised of 2 different pieces of foam. Needs to be replaced with a proper mattress. Shower: position of shower spray in bathtub made it very difficult to properly shower without the too short shower curtain sticking to your body. Hope this feedback helps

Appartement très bien situé, dans une rue calme, proche d'un métro/bus et d'une grande surface. Michael est très sympathique et accomodant.Seul le lit du séjour est peu confortable mais dans l'ensemble, c'est correct.Je n'ai pas d'autres expériences à Londres mais il me semble que le rapport qualité / prix est bon.

The flat looked as advertised and the owner was very responsive. It was not set up for guests but was more like crashing at a nephew's house for the week. It was cluttered and has cords and powerstrips here and there. Woukd not recommend for small chikdren. The bed in the bedroom was only equipped with a top sheet that was smaller than the mattress. Luckily, I had brought a sheet with me, which was the only bedding available but for heavy duvets. No drawers were provided. A shelf was cleared in the bathroom for our use. The owner's clothing and personal items were as he had left them.It is in a convenient location and was quiet and safe.

Great little place outside the city center. Great location to jump on the Jubilee or Metro lines and get anywhere you want in minutes. Apartment was great for 2 adults and 2 kids. Very quiet and safe neighborhood with grocery store and restaurants within walking distance. Wonderful and very responsive host. Plenty of room for the family to spread out. Great value for the price. You can spend the day in the city center and return to a very quiet and comfortable apartment far away from the hustle and bustle.

This was a fabulous flat. Perfect for a family of 4 with 2 of them teens. It was a quick walk to the tube, and very quiet. It was warm so we slept with the windows open and it was so peaceful. The flat is exactly as the pictures show. Michael was a great host and met us at check in and clearly communicated before our arrival. Loved our stay!

L’emplacement de l’appartement est très bien, aussi bien pour l’environnement direct que pour l’accès au cœur de Londres.L’appartement mériterait d’être plus propre néanmoins et n’est pas adapté à plus de trois ou quatre personnes.
