Town: Woodbridge is a historic riverside market town boasting an outstanding selection of independent shops, restaurants and pubs. The town has been famous for boatbuilding, rope and sail making since the Middle Ages. The working tide mill is a major attraction and a must visit for anyone staying in the area. The River Deben runs alongside the town and is popular for boating, walking and wildlife with wonderful views over to the National Trust site of Sutton Hoo. The town hosts a number of events throughout the year and is a wonderful place to visit.

Woodbridge Wanderers

5 family adults and a springer spaniel, returned to Woodbridge for a second November break, the first being in 2019. Beresford House was enjoyable, unusual being above a cafe/coffee shop. They were very friendly and helpful, especially with old wooden front door we couldn't get to grips with initially. Well placed in the village for shops and pubs, we had plenty of room and bathrooms. We enjoyed our stay
