Region: Cornwall’s visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain’s premier holiday destinations.
Town: The rural community of Dobwalls is located close to the market town of Liskeard, the slopes of Bodmin Moor, and the stunning north and south Cornish beaches. It is surrounded by open fields and forested countryside. The charming fishing harbours of Looe, Fowey, and Polperro are all within 15 miles of this location, making it the ideal starting point for exploring everything that the area has to offer. Padstow and the surfing beach at Polzeath are located on the North Coast, a leisurely drive away. Travel a little further and take advantage of the excellent trekking on Bodmin Moor, or head to Siblyback Lake and enjoy the fantastic sailing, fishing, and watersports on offer there. Within 15 miles of the Eden Project, Plymouth may be reached in 30 minutes by car or 25 minutes by train from the neighbouring Liskeard station. This is a fantastic holiday base because it has the Barbican harbour area, a renowned aquarium, and a wide variety of stores, restaurants, and theatres.
