Green Acres is set amidst the rural picturesque countryside of Kettlesing and is situated 6 miles west from the spa town of Harrogate in the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Our cosy, comfortable apartment is attached to our family home overlooking farmland. We are the ideal base to explore many places of interest which the area has to offer as well as venturing further afield to visit Skipton, Knaresborough, York & Leeds to name but a few.
Ideal for walking, cycling or a romantic, relaxing retreat. The local pub is a two-minute walk away serving real ales & home cooked food.

A place to unwind... The body, mind & soul - Cherry Blossom Treatment room is adjacent to the property and offers facials, massages, manicures & pedicures.

Visiting the area with friends then please check out our Cherry Blossom Cottage next door which sleeps 4 people.

Our previous stay was in the summer, this time we really appreciated the cosines and the comfort of the apartment. Lovely to come back to after a local walk round the lanes or a meal out at the pub, 2 minutes walk away.

Great location for visiting the Harrogate flower show, set in a quiet village with a pub in walking distance for just drinks or something to eat, plus 2 or 3 other great options within a 10 minute drive.Warm comfy house, everything you need for a few days and nights. Bathroom was very clean and a very comfy bed.

Perfect accomodation for a short stay in this area. Spotlessly clean, well equipped and very comfortable bed. A big bonus was having a friendly pub with good food 2 minutes walk away.

Cosy cottage, great location

Everything about our stay was excellent. Juliet was a wonderful host who catered to our every need, even providing a new microwave when we oldies couldn’t read the buttons on the one that was there when we arrived! The cottage had everything we needed including an air fryer, plenty of cooking utensils, saucepans, crockery etc. She happily provided fresh towels when we didn’t have good drying weather, and she also turned on the heating in the late afternoon so we could dry the few clothes we needed to wash. All in all we had a truly stress-free & enjoyable 6 days at Green Acres.

A very well appointed and spotlessly clean apartment in a beautiful quiet location. Located on a lovely laneway with surrounding views of the countryside. A short walk to a little village with the best country pub atmosphere and a great range of meals.Will definitely stay here again.

Great Break Away

Communication from owner and check in were faultless. Extra little touches were much appreciated. Cosy, comfortable and warm with everything we needed. Great location for all the places we wanted to visit.

Awesome cottage

My husband and I loved this cozy cottage! It was nicely decorated and the bed was very comfortable. We loved the views of the countryside and the peace and quiet. We will definitely book again in the future!

Perfect stay

Three days of peace and quiet. The accommodation was to a high standard. It was bright and tastefully decorated with homely touches. The village is idyllic with some stunning views. Short drives will take you to lots of lovely towns and villages. Juliet and Christine are lovely and very welcoming. Juliet has a beauty room next door - I had the most wonderful massage. We hope to return in the future to visit all the beautiful places we had no time for.

Lovely Clean Apartment.

Lovely apartment, although I would describe it as a cottage. The owner has furnished the apartment to a high standard, very clean and beautifully furnished, excellent WIFI connection. The owner is close by and available If needed, but we did not have any problems. The area is outstanding for walks and very quiet. Would recommend the Queens Head pub/restaurant only 10 mins walk from the apartment, Harrogate and York are close. We enjoyed our stay and would be more than happy to stay again.

A wonderful experience

Superb accomodation, very clean and well organised, the location was perfect, near to Harrogate, Skipton, Ripon and also not far away from York. It was very quiet and the total opposite of the city life we both endure. Highly recommend the accomodation, it had everything you need, a bedroom for 2 people, lovely bathroom, living/dining room and kitchen, the views were stunning too. Very pleasant hosts and clearly a very well run business. Thank you for making our stay so pleasant. Gary & Pam (Manchester)
