A perfect place to stay after a long day's walk on the Nidderdale Way. The appartement was lovely and warm when we arrived and enjoyed a good hot shower in the shower room. The kitchen was small but everything we needed to make breakfast before starting the next leg of the walk, The bed was very comfortable and had a good night's sleep. Had a good meal and a couple of good pints in the Crown Inn which was only a 2 minute walk away.

It was a cute little bolt hole. We are however tall & it’s very low ceilings and doors so had to duck everywhere. Reasonably well equipped. Very comfortable bed. Some cobwebs between beams & in windows which we used a duster to move those above the bed. The bushes by the main entrance could also do with a trim as encroach on the door way when passing through. Some teas, coffees, biscuits and fresh milk was a nice touch as well as the a little freezer with the fridge. Easy to park in little car park and very close to the pub which had great food, particularly the steak and ale pie. Setting is stunning & some lovely walks and views a few steps away from the accommodation.

4 years ago we moved to Nidderdale having lived in the South of England and were blown away by the beauty and peace of the Yorkshire Dales. We are keen to share this experience with others.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

We have the most amazing views down of Nidderdale being perched up on the edge of the village of Middlesmoor

この宿泊施設の特徴

This studio apartment is part of the cottage built in the 17th century, it’s on the ground floor separated from the main house by an old stone stairwell. It is small but cost and ideal base after an active day walking or sight seeing in the Dales.
The views on our cover photo are just 20 metres from your front door.
We are passionate about the local wildlife and you will see a wealth of garden birds which regularly feed on our bird-feeders around the property.
A 1-2 minute walk takes you up to the local pub open 7 days a week.
There are multiple walks from the property in all directions either up on to the moorland or down into the Nidderdale Valley
