A beautiful award winning upside down house with fabulous sea views

The Lookout is a gorgeous property with a large balcony and wonderful sea views. It really gives all our guests a sense of calm and relaxation, and we have great reviews from everyone non who stays here.
The property was refurbished in January 2022 and offers our guests a quiet away from it all holiday, There is an open plan lounge diner with doors opening up to the well fitted kitchen, and upstairs cloakroom, and the lounge opens up from wall to ceiling glass doors to the large balcony.
The balcony offers seating for four and is perfect for an evening glass of wine watching the sunset or simply watching the ships sail by.
The beach is a stones throw away with access from the rear garden to the coastal path which leads to a slope and steps to the dog friendly beach.Mundesley beach was voted the best beach in North Norfolk in 2022!
The Beach shed in the garden has all the beach paraphernalia you could wish for, with beach toys for the children, beach chairs, wind break, and other beach items.
There is a dining table for four on the patio.
Mundesley has a Blue Flag beach for 2022, and boasts several hostelries and coffee shops for refreshment pit stops.
There is bicycle hire in the village and we have a butchers, greengrocers, chemist, post office, a Lifeboat charity shop, lovely ladies clothes shop, and a Tesco Express only 5 minutes walk away.
A holiday at The Lookout is not only peaceful and relaxing but is an excellent base for exploring the rest of North Norfolk, with its wonderful beaches, stately homes, seal watching and much more.

The Lookout, Mundesley. An Outstanding Holiday Home.

First time visiting Mundesley and we found ourselves the most wonderful place to spend our ten nights.The property had everything we (including our little dog, Maddie) could possibly need, and the view from the balcony is stunning.Our lovely host, Bev, made a point of welcoming us in person, and was really helpful in acquainting us with the area and things to see and do while we were there.I can’t recommend this accommodation highly enough. We will definitely be coming back.

Great accommodation.

We had a lovely holiday in Mundesley. The Lookout is very well situated for exploring the Norfolk coast and the view from the upstairs living area is lovely. The house was spotlessly clean and comfortable.

Fantastic accommodation

This is the third time we have stayed at The Lookout, perfect place, beautiful views of the sea, the house is well equipped. Thank you Bev for the warm welcome, we would highly recommend staying here and can't to return in 2020!

Lovely place to stay

We loved our stay at the upside down house. The house has been done up to a high standard and had everything we needed. The best part was undoubtedly the amazing view from the balancy - a perfect place to while away a summer evening looking out to sea.

Perfect

Spent four nights at the lookout with husband and dog the title says it all would not hesitate to stay here again .it was spotlessly clean with everything you could need .you won’t be disappointed .

A lovely house with everything you could want!

The house is lovely with its own parking outside. It is well equipped and comfortable with really nice finishing touches like tea, real and instant coffee and a bottle of wine there for you to enjoy!

A Breezy few days in Mundesley

We had a lovely time in Mundesley, the cottage is lovely, clean, well appointed and situated perfectly for enjoying Mundesley and the Beach. A lovely welcome from Bev and a timely reminder about the pizza van (Rocket pizza's), you were right they are amzingly good.

Had a wonderful time in this fabulous property. Had everything you could wish for, plus lots of extra touches which were lovely and much appreciated. Very clean, beautiful décor, perfect location, and great host. We didn't want to leave and can't wait to visit again! A BIG thank you Bev!

Great location, Great hospitality !

From the moment we got to the house we knew we would have a good break. The location was perfect with great views and a short walk to the beach. The house was clean and tastefully decorated. We got there earlier than expected and Bev was more than accommodating. She had left out some treats for us which was greatly appreciated. The kids loved all the games in the house and had great fun. I would highly recommend this place for trips with young families, there is so much to do within the area.

Lovely views and well equipped property

Fantastic sea views from the lounge and quick access to the beach. We were delighted by the comfortable and well presented property. We had stormy weather and enjoyed sheltering in this wonderful home. Breezy sea walks with the dog, deep bath tub to soak in and Netflix for evenings in. Would recommend for location and high spec finish of the house. LOVED it. Thanks Bev for your friendly hello and helpfulness.

Fantastic house by the sea.

We had a great stay in this lovely house by the sea. The house is fully equipped and located just a short walk to a lovely beach, which we took advantage of with our dog. Bev was a great host and when we arrived there was some fresh milk and a bottle of wine and some dog treats. The attention to detail of this house is fantastic with everything you need for a great stay and made it feel a home from home. The sea views from the top floor decking are breath taking. We hope to visit again very soon and very much enjoyed our stay. If you book this you won't be disappointed.

Gorgeous house in a brilliant location

We have just returned from a week at the Lookout and feel like we've been away for ages - we feel so relaxed! The house is lovely - so well equipped, cleaned and decorated - a genuine home from home. The location is amazing - incredible views and an easy walk to the beach and village. The weather was a bit ropey when we were there, but this just makes you appreciate the house even more - it was lovely sitting in the living room with a glass of wine or cup of coffee watching and listening to the sea. Bev (the owner) was very helpful prior to check in and on hand if needed. We absolutely loved it here and feel very fortunate to have been able to stay. We were a party of 4 plus 1 dog

Amazing place to stay

The property was exceedingly clean, had everything you could need for a holiday let, beautiful location and amazing views. surrounding area is so very beautiful. The area is peaceful and friendly… The host, Bev, is lovely, she will help in anyway she can, she is a stonesthrow away, in case you need her, but also leaves you to enjoy your stay. We took our two small dogs, and they were welcomed with treats and anything else they might need to keep them happy. The outside was very dog friendly and clean. The outside shed had a host of different things for the beach, dog toys, decl chairs, etc. We loved our stay here and we are planning our next visit, one of the best holiday lets we have ever stayed in.. The view from the upstairs is breathtaking. Thank you Bev. xxx

Beautiful house and view warm in character

Wonderful time. Wanted to take my girlfriend somewhere special. Highly recommended. I did a lot of research and the lookout looked the best. It didn’t disappoint. We bumped in Bev on the way in very friendly. There was a bottle of wine and delicious posh chocolate ginger biscuits! Not like a hotel, the house is actually warm and cosy, feels human, with everything you need, but without feeling like your stepping into someone’s house and personal style. Not an easy thing to pull off actually. Wonderful views and walks. Very beautiful sea. I’ll be recommending it to friends. Thanks for a great time.

Lovely stay in an immaculate and welcoming property

This property really is faultless. It is exceptionally clean and so well equipped - everything that you might need - even if you didn’t realise you did - is there. Lots of spare storage available too in both of the bedrooms and the kitchen. Great that a dog water bowl was provided together with treats for them as well as us humans - wine and biscuits. Even unpacking and packing the car was easy as we could literally pull up and park outside the front door. The location is stunning with fabulous and far reaching views over the sea. Close to many of the facilities of the village so easy to nip out for a take away or an early morning paper from the local newsagent. The beach is clean and dog friendly so our dogs enjoyed running along the sand. Bev was friendly and welcoming with lots of local knowledge to help us find our way about when we got there. Mundesley is a lovely village and everyone was very friendly. We loved sitting in the beer garden at The Ship Inn which overlooks the sea enjoying our first post lockdown drink and meal out. Thoroughly recommended.

Perfect!

Had a wonderful 3 night break staying at The Lookout and wish we’d booked for longer! A homely, spotlessly clean, well equipped and very comfortable house in a perfect location with amazing views. A lovely warm welcome on arrival from Bev – thank you for the treats! Would highly recommend and hope to return one day.

Wonderful view

Just perfect. Clean warm comfortable with amazing views. We will definitely go again and recommend this lovely property to friends and family. Our host was very friendly and helpful. We couldn’t have asked for more. A wonderful well needed break. Thank you.
