The check-in process was super smooth. The hosts were waiting for us as we arrived. The food, drink, and other amenities were generously stocked, which is such a thoughtful touch, especially when we arrived in late evening. There's a supermarket just a few doors down. The kitchen is very well equipped. We made xmas family meal with ease! Bedrooms and bathrooms are clean, comfortable, and with plenty of storage space. We would 100% stay here again next time when we're in Madrid!

This is the most fantastic accommodation! Immaculately clean and every possible thing you could need for a wonderful holiday. Carlos and Maria have thought of everything! They are first class hosts and communication is great. Everything is clear and concise. Location is perfect.

A Delightful Treat

My husband, daughter and I received an in person, warm and informative welcome from Carlos as we checked into the apartment. Not only is Carlos a welcoming host, the apartment is just amazing, all new, so comfortable, perfectly clean, beautiful decorations, excellent location, we enjoyed lots of time in Retiro Park. Museums, restaurants, City Center are all walkable. To top it off Carlos stocks his apartment with groceries, treats and personal hygiene items. Here is a place you will not want to miss!

Outstanding Vacation Stay

I can't say enough good things about this stay. The location is awesome, only 2 blocks from the #1 Metro Line, which is the oldest and most direct to the city center. Only 4 blocks the other way to the Circular LIne & 1 LIne intersection to get to other parts of the city. It is one stop or a 5-minute walk to the Atocha train station, one of 2 stations to get the hi-speed trains to other parts of Spain. Carlos is a great host. He is responsive and helpful with anything you might need, such as a taxi upon departure. He has absolutely everything you might need from a hair straightener to a baby stroller to sleep blinders. I am not exaggerating, everything is in the apartment. The fridge and cabinets are stocked with food for your use. And there is a Lidl market just up the block. It is a residential neighborhood, so it is quiet at night, so you can get some sleep.

Excellent location, easy access and great host.

What a wonderful stay! We really enjoyed meeting Carlos. We are native English speakers, so he also brought a partner to help guide us through the house and how to use all of the features of the apartment. We were greeted to a wide variety of basic staple foods and drinks in the fridge to help us get settled. We REALLY appreciated this after a long day of travel. Carlos was a great communicator and checked in to make sure everything was going well. We received some great recommendations on restaurants and areas of interest. If/when we come back to Madrid, we will certainly look to stay at this location again. Clean rooms, clean bathrooms, lots of thoughtful small details included (extra toothbrushes, toothpaste, band-aids, iron, etc). Thank you!

An Apartment With EVERYTHING in a Great Location

Let's start with the best thing about this apartment -- Carlos, the host. He is very easy to communicate with, very accommodating, and shares his knowledge of the Pacifico neighborhood. And the apartment is spotless, well designed, and has everything you could possibly need -- Carlos is very thoughtful and generous. We loved the location. It's in a nice, not too touristy neighborhood, an easy walk to the Prado and Queen Sophia museums, and to the Atocha train station, as well as the Retiro park. There's a big supermarket about two doors down, although Carlos stocks the apartment with enough groceries to live on for a week. A couple of things you should know. First, Madrid is a big city, so it's not surprising that the rooms are on the small side. We had three adults, and were very comfortable, but more people might feel crowded. Also, the apartment is at street level, and has a separate entrance onto the street. This means that you get more street noise than if you were higher up, but it's a pretty quiet neighborhood -- the loudest thing was the kids walking to the school on the corner. Finally, the bed in the main bedroom is a double, not a queen -- at least, not an American queen. Not a problem for us. I'll close by saying that this is one of the best vacation rentals I have stayed in anywhere, and I hope that I'll be back on my next trip to Madrid. Thanks, Carlos, for a great stay in your lovely apartment.

Great Place in Madrid

The house was immaculate, everything was clean and new. The neighborhood felt safe and there were several restaurants within walking distance and a grocery store next door. The metro stop was less than 5 minutes. The house was stocked with some groceries when we arrived, which was really nice. Highly recommend this place for a visit to Madrid.

Fantastisch verblijf

Zeer mooi en proper verblijf, met een overvloed aan voorzieningen. De verhuurder is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Verblijf ligt in een rustig deel van de stad, dicht bij een metrostation waardoor alles goed bereikbaar is. Een aanrader !
