Single storey with light, airy, huge open plan interior and adjacent off road parking. Central location for touring Western Brittany. The track outside the Gites leads you down through the woods to the river Douffine. Decorated and furnished in a relaxed, fresh, country style. English speaking owners live on site in main farmhouse. Suitable for all year round use with full electric heating included and wood-burner fire, ideal for chilly evenings and winter breaks. All linen provided. Initial basic supplies of tea/coffee, milk, fresh bread, butter, salt and pepper, French cheese and bottle of local cider are all included and will be waiting in your gite for your arrival. Cleaning materials provided. First basket of chopped wood included between October and April. Separate secure storage can be made available for bikes, surf boards, fishing tackle and roof racks etc. Glass front door opens on to small, secluded terrace garden with views and walks to river, woods and surrounding countryside.

Beautiful and quiet

The location is great for exploring Western Brittany. Claire and Richard are the perfect hosts: very attentive and helpful but always mindful of their guests privacy. The room looks even nicer than on the pictures and felt really comfortable. We would have gladly stayed longer if we could.

Delightful cottage in the midst of verdant nature

Just what we were looking for: a spacious and quiet place where to spend a few days in a natural park but within driving distance from the best beaches and interesting places in western Brittany. The room was clean and provided with all one may need, including a bottle of wine, a baguette and cheese that generously welcomed us at arrival. Richard was also very attentive in showing us how everything worked in the room, and in telling us about the best restaurants to visit in the neighborhood. I would definitely like to stay there again in the near future.

Nous sommes ravies d’avoir passé ces 6 jours dans cette belle location en amoureuses. Le cadre paisible de la campagne et de la nature environnante nous a permis de nous ressourcer durant ces vacances. La location est plus grande et spacieuse que sur les photos et rend encore mieux en vrai. L’hôte est très accueillant et disponible mais se fait très discret et ne vient pas déranger la tranquillité des voyageurs.Nous recommandons vivement cet hébergement si vous souhaitez être au frais, au calme dans la campagne bretonne et profiter d’un petit coin de paradis dans cette maison de caractère avec ses belles pierres.

Grand gîte avec un grand lit et une belle douche. Super accueil du propriétaire et un endroit très calme. Un seul bémol les rideaux ne sont pas occultant. Je recommande vivement cet hébergement.

Très bon séjour

Le logement est joli, très propre, bien équipé, confortable et calme. Richard est sympathique, très réactif et arrangeant . De plus, il a eu de touchantes attentions culinaires à notre arrivée. Nous recommandons vraiment ce lieu et son hôte.

Wir waren zum zweiten Mal dort und es war wieder richtig schön. Ruhig gelegen in ländlicher Umgebung, genau das richtige um sich vom Alltag zu erholen. Vielen Dank an Claire und Richard für die freundliche Begrüßung und Betreuung.

Logement correspondant à la description et spacieux pour 2 personnes. Très bon contact avec le propriétaire qui habite à côté, qui est disponible et discret. Petit espace extérieur tranquille, endroit très calme. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour.

Nous vous remercions d'avoir pris le temps d'écrire un avis sur nous. Nous sommes situés dans une zone rurale au centre de la région du Finistère. C'est un excellent emplacement pour visiter les collines, les villes et les côtes. Nous sommes à 5 minutes en voiture du supermarché le plus proche et à 10 minutes des bars et restaurants de Chateaulin et du Faou. Nous sommes vraiment désolés que vous n'ayez pas eu de chance avec le temps.
