Villa Mirela Megali is the larger of two beautiful villas situated in a very large plot above the popular and well-established resort of Dassia on the northeast coast of Corfu. Reached by a quiet lane nestled between the main road to Paleokastritsa and the village of Kato Korakiana this is a beautiful, rural location with fabulous country and distant mountain views.
Private electronically controlled gates lead to an impressive driveway up to the house with plenty of off street parking for several cars. Villa Mirela Megali was only completed a few years ago and offers really comfortable rooms, with plenty of space for a large family gathering. The traditional Ionian architecture, elegant and graceful, conceals a modern interior and very spacious, light filled rooms.
Everything about Mirela is generous, from the space to the owners welcome! Wide upstairs balconies give you more choices as to where to sit to enjoy the peace and the view.
The outside offers a beautiful fully tiled overflow pool and large paved terrace with shaded dining area, plus plenty of sunbathing space. Beside the pool terrace is a BBQ area where you can grill up tasty local goodies to enjoy by the pool, whilst marvelling at the view.
Just a few minutes by car from the peaceful seclusion you can be in the busy village of Kato Korakiana with a good choice of local restaurants and café bars as well as a couple of minimarkets, and just a few minutes further brings you to the centre of Dassia, a long-standing seaside resort offering everything for the visitor including a long stretch of sandy and pebble beach lined by restaurants and bars. Ypou'll also find watersports galore!  Villa Mirela Megali has a great location which also means really easy access to Corfu Town or the west coast, with the famous beauty spot of Paleokastritsa just 20 minutes drive away - the best of all worlds!
