Cottage on farm

This cottage is realised in a converted barn. On a farmyard. The cottage is a great place for young families but also for peace seekers who want to stay in comfortable surroundings. A large enclosed garden with a seating area and reclining chairs. Indoor and outdoor toys, a trampoline, go-karts to race around the yard. And how nice is it when you get to collect your own fresh eggs in the morning? And in the evening together around the brazier. The modern cosy furnishings give a nice feeling. The cottage has a complete kitchen and everything is there, from bed, bath and kitchen linen to coffee and tea. So nice, just bring your clothes. This is how holidays should be, right? A spacious living room, with a dining area, sofa, chairs and a floating chair. A spacious bathroom The loft offers sleeping accommodation on the first floor for 2-5 people. A double bed (2.20m long) and two super cute bedsteads (2m long,) because who wouldn't want to sleep in a bedstead? Because it is spacious, we can add a cot or a regular bed. Groceries can be done in the beautiful historic town of IJsselstein with its quaint shopping streets. There is also a very nice farmers' market with local products in Utrecht. The apartment has a private garden and has access to on-site parking. There are plenty of ideas for excursions: a long walk along the banks of the Hollandse IJssel, renting a boat or a sup at the Marnemoende marina, or a boat trip to the city centre. Have a delicious meal or drink at Rivers, or grab our bikes to take a ride in the area. Dive into one of the lovely natural waters in the area. Utrecht is a great city to discover, the canals, the terraces, the many small shops, Stroll the narrow old streets with their rich history or visit the funniest children's museum in the netherlands (the railway museum)

Home Away from Home

This farm lived up to its advertisement - it was a “home away from home” and welcome oasis in the evenings after days of touring and immersion in busy urban life. I would love to come back again with my family

Very nice cottage

Lovely apartment with a private garden and near the farm. The interiors are furnished with a remarkable aesthetic taste. Unfortunately we could only stay for two nights. For longer stays, a washing machine and dishwasher would be welcome :-)

Beautiful place at a convenient location

Excellent place to stay - the space was beautiful and very well kept. The location was convenient for travel across NL - we visited several parks and small towns across the country and into Belgium and found this area very convenient. We had our young child with us who greatly enjoyed the animals and toys around the property. 10/10 recommend without hesitation.

Cozy space in a nice surrounding

We had a very nice stay! The hosts were so friendly, welcoming and provided a good service- we even got bikes for the duration of our stay. Everything was clean, spacious and looked lovely. Besides we had everything we needed (kitchen stuff etc.). The City of Utrecht was near but we benefited from the quiet and rural surroundings.

Liebvoll, nett, (kinder) freundlich - zu Gast bei Freunden

wir hatten in der vorösterlichen Zeit für 4 Tage gebucht. Das Objekt (Neder-Oudland) ist sehr liebevoll restauriert und geschmackvoll, hochwertig und praktisch eingerichtet, alles was man in einer Ferienwohnung benötigt ist vorhanden. Man fühlt sich zu Gast bei Freunden. Die Lage ist ruhig, ländlich, trotzdem sind wesentliche Sehenswürdigkeiten (Utrecht ca. 20Min, Amsterdam ca 40Min, Gouda, ca. 30 Min) entfernt. Die ruhigen Straßen laden zum radeln und spazierengehen ein. In der Nähe gibt es einen Binnenyachthafen, wo man auch etwas hochwertiger essen gehen kann. Das Besitzerehepaar betreibt einen Bauernhof mit Schafen, Rindern, Hühnern, Ziegen und einem Pony. Das Objekt ist sehr kinderfreundlich, es gibt überall Spielgeräte (Trampoline, eine Schaukel, Kinderautos) die benutzt werden dürfen, in der Wohnung gab es auch Spielzeug für unseren Kleinen. Der Zugang zu angrenzenden Gewässern ist bezaunt, so dass man sich keine Gedanken über diese Gefahrenquelle, speziell mit kleinen Kindern machen muss. Auch der Wohnbereich selbst ist kindersicher Tür-OG, es gibt eine Tafelwand, auf der man mit Kreide mahlen konnte. Wir haben mit unserem kleinen Sohn ein paarmal die Tiere gestreichelt, die Hofkatze war kurz Gast in der Wohnung :-). Wenn es sich anbietet kommen wir gerne wieder.

Der Urlaub war rundum gelungen und für jeden etwas dabei.

Ich bin mit meiner Familie hier im Urlaub gewesen. Die Räumlichkeiten waren gepflegt und qualitativ gut eingerichtet. Da auf einem Bauernhof bekanntlich viele Fliegen sind, waren die Fliegengitter "Gold" wert. Habe selten so nette Vermieter gehabt. Wir und auch die Kinder konnten jederzeit mit Fragen ankommen. Auch die Gegend hier war richtig schön. Man hat einen getrennten Bereich in dem man voll und ganz die Natur genießen kann. Danke

Wunderschön

Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung, entspricht absolut den Bildern. Wir haben in den Betten super geschlafen. Die Umgebung ist sehr idyllisch und man kann von dort sehr schöne Radtouren starten.Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und zuvorkommend- Danke hier nochmal für ihre Hilfe bezüglich der Verletzung meines Mannes.

Het appartement is mooi, ruim en huiselijk: je voelt je meteen thuis. Ook met 2 kleine kinderen (0 en 2 jaar) is het goed vertoeven in deze woning. Een aanrader!

Lovely country apartment

My husband and I loved this property and our hosts. They were very welcoming and did our best to make our stay enjoyable. The property is on a working farm, but no nasty smells, only a few flies to contend with. There was a demolition going on next door, so very, very noisy, but our hosts negotiated with the construction team to give us a peaceful day. We were met every morning by the resident chicken, a family pet, and the farm also had a horse, goat, sheep and cattle The apartment itself was very comfortable. Nice large farm table, well equipped kitchen, couch and big bathroom on the main floor. No A/C but it was ok for us (average outside temperature was 15 celsius). Note the bedroom is upstairs and bathroom on the main floor. There is a typical Dutch set of stairs, pretty steep. The upstairs is a loft with a queen size bed and two very cute cupboard beds for children. We would return to this property, it was really nice!

Farm House Perfection

Our stay couldn’t have been more perfect. Staying on the farm and experiencing the slower pace of life was exactly what we were looking for. The farm was easily accessible to all the site seeing we had planned (Amsterdam, Utrecht, Delft, Gouda, kinderdijk). I don’t even know where to begin with what our favourite thing was. Some highlights....The KITTENS! Our children could have taken them home. Beautifully furnished apartment, the horse and the goat that greeted us every morning. The trampoline. The fresh bowl of cherries. Our lovely British neighbours. It was so much more than we could have imagined. Thank you Gerline and Jochem, we are already planning our next visit.

Nice place, nice people... and animals :)

We were looking for a nice apartment on a farm to have a relaxing weekend and pet some animals. And we got exactly that. The apartment is so beautifully furnished and you fell right at home and very comfortable. Gerline and Jochem are very friendly hosts. We travelled with our 7 months old son and it was no problem getting a baby bed. The animals on the farm are very friendly and we had a great time playing with the kittens and petting the horse and the goat. The whole area is very beautiful and we took some great walks. Highly recommended!

Charming and perfect location

Beautiful apartment with everything you need and close to Utrecht. Great location to do day trips. Loved all the farm animals. Loved the style too! We have stayed in many VRBO's and this is one of the very best! Loved the apple pie. Wonderful place for kids too. Very friendly and helpful hosts. We wish we had more time in the Netherlands.

Ferienwohnung nicht optimal für Selbstversorger

Die Ferienwohnung macht auf den ersten Blick einen guten Eindruck. Leider ist die Küchenausstattung nicht gut wenn man selber kochen möchte. Es gibt nur zwei kleine Töpfe (eine Suppe für 4 Leute oder Muscheln abkochen unmöglich)das Besteck ist komplett aus unterschiedlichen Bestecken zusammen gewürfelt auch bei den Tellern. Suppenteller oder Schüssel gibt es auch nicht. Messer die was schneiden sucht man vergebens. Die Betten alle im OG sind gut gewesen. Wir hatten Pech da das Haus sehr hellhörig ist und unsere Nachbarn die halbe Nacht geredet und gelacht haben war an Schlaf und Erholung erstmal nicht zu denken. Sehr schade denn sonst wäre die Wohnung nett.

Landelijk en Industrieel luxe verblijf met ZUSSEN

We hebben hier een weekendje vertoefd. Wat een ontzettend sfeervol verblijf. Schoon en mooi aangekleed. Van alle gemakken voorzien. Zelfs voor thee, koffie en kruiden is gezorgd, ook handdoeken en theedoeken hebben we niet mee hoeven nemen. IDEAAL! De eigenaresse heeft ons vriendelijk rondgeleid door het appartement. Landelijke omgeving, lekker rustig. De steden zijn makkelijk te bezoeken met auto/ P+R en trein

Ein herrlicher Ort, eine wunderschön eingerichtete Ferienwohnung und eine sehr nette Gastfamilie.

Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr schön gelegen und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Alles sehr sauber. Es ist ein echtes Kinderparadies, mit Garten, Teich, Floss, Trampolin und jede Menge Tiere. Unsere Kinder hatten sehr viel Spaß und damit wir auch.

Très bon séjour au Pays bas! Nous recommandons ce gite!

Nous avons été ravi de notre séjour au pays bas. Nos hôtes étaient très accueillants et disponibles pour nous aider au cours de notre séjour. Nous avons apprécié la propreté du gite, l'espace extérieur bien entretenu. Les enfants étaient ravis de pouvoir profiter du trampoline, des jeux et d'aller à la rencontre des animaux de la ferme. Les brochures mises à la disposition dans le gite ainsi que les plans des villes nous ont bien aidé et nous ont évité de perdre du temps à aller aux offices du tourismes. Nous avons appréciés aussi la gentillesse des néerlandais et la découverte du pays en général, les balades en vélos, la découverte des moulins, la visite d'Amsterdam etc...
