Bougainvillea Holiday Villa is nestled only 700 metres from the coast in the lush tropical mountainside and just 3 minutes away from spectacular beaches, lies this modern and spacious residence. Situated in the beautiful Southern/south eastern eastern part of Mahe which is renowned for it's peacefulness, where you'll find the most number of beautiful beaches on Mahe island , with many close (just to name a few, like Anse Royale, Anse Parnel, Anse Forbans, Anse Intendance, Anse Takamaka, Baie Lazare, Anse Soleil, plus more. The Residence can accommodate up to 10 persons ( including 2 folding beds with mattress. Flyscreens on all windows.

Relax on the large verandahs enjoying the Ocean view, Flora & Fauna. Residence ideally located in a peaceful and safe location with all that you need for a your self catering close by. We can also provide breakfast and dinner as well. ( not included in rental rates).

Cleaning every third day included in rental and also we also provide a "Welcome Starter" Pack on arrival to help you get started on your stay. Internet with WIFI included in rental.

All fine!

For a group of seven of 3 generations IT was the perfect House to celebrate togetherness and find privacy. The communication with Mary was superfast and for tiny Problems there we're Always Open ears and solutions. A late Check Out Option was highly appreciated! For people seeking absolute quieteness IT might be a little irritating that the property is at the Moment next to a construction site and next to a street...we got used to IT quickly, because the surrounding Beauty is Always the absolute Winner. We are very thankful for this stay!

Alles wunderbar wie letztes Mal

die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich und stets hilfsbereit. Wir sind zum zweiten Mal bei ihr im Appartement gewesen, weil wir wussten, das hier wirklich alles passt. Zudem ist die Aussicht schön und man ist schnell mit dem Auto am Meer unten, in 1 Minute oder 2. Und Strände gibt es dann in jede Richtung ohnehin genügend. Ich kann den Aufenthalt nur empfehlen. Die Ferienwohnung ist wirklich sehr schön und gut ausgestattet. Für schnelles Internet muss man zahlen, aber es hielt sich von den Kosten her im Rahmen und klappte gut. gerne wieder!

Villa tout confort et très bien située.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Mary , la villa est climatisée, spacieuse , confortable , très propre et très bien située à 5mn en voiture d’une superbe plage .Nous étions 8 amis , Mary nous a concocté chaque jour des petits déjeuners et des diners délicieux et copieux .Je recommande vivement cette adresse, vous y passerez un agréable séjour

Appréciation sur Villa Bougainvillea à Mahé

Depuis notre réservation en octobre 2021 jusqu'à notre occupation dans la maison, Mary a été très présente, a répondu à toutes nos interrogations. La maison est spacieuse, parfaite pour 10 personnes. Quelques remarques, cependant : * la Villa est située sur le bord d'une route très passante, en montée, ce qui provoque des odeurs de carburants à chaque passage de véhicules, particulièrement les camionnettes, bus scolaires et bus. * la vue depuis la terrasse n'est pas agréable car elle donne sur un terrain vague, pas entretenu ( qui n'appartient peut être pas à la propriétaire de la maison). Au loin, tout de même, vue sur la mer. * Une grande partie de la vaisselle n'était pas propre (faitouts, casseroles, poêles très gras). *Le Studio au fond du terrain mal ventilé, des odeurs de renfermé. * Villa proche de belles plages.

A wonderful place

Everything was completely excellent. The facilities were in excellent condition. The location is easily accessible. The hosts were great to connect with and helped in every way that we needed. They were very quick in their replies to my many questions before we arrived and made our stay easy and enjoyable.

Wunderbar und besonders schön!

Ich kann diese Unterkunft wärmstes empfehlen! Schon vor der Anreise war die Vermieterin Mary sehr hilfsbereit und hat uns unter anderem gleich problemlos einen passenden Mietwagen vermittelt. Auch bei anderen Fragen zu Unternehmungen war sie immer erreichbar und hat uns schnell weitergeholfen. Sie war herzlich und großzügig. Das Appartment selbst liegt sehr schön in den Hügeln, mit Blick auf das Meer. Man ist sehr schnell unten an der Küstenstraße, von wo aus man in gut 20 min nach Mahé kommt und viele einsame Strände im Süden der Insel aufsuchen kann. Die _Unterkunkft war sehr sauber und sehr gepflegt und es hat auch alles funktioniert. Es gab nirgendwo Anlaß für Beanstandungen. wir waren zwei Erwachsene und drei Kinder und es war für alle genügend Platz. Ich kann das in jeder Hinsicht aus erster Hand weiterempfehlen!

Wie im Paradies

Das Haus liegt im schönen Val d'Endor. Der Blick von der Terasse auf den Indischen Ozean und die Insel Fregate ist traumhaft. Die Vegetation im Tal und die Stimmen der Vögel und Flughunde haben es uns angetan. Die Flughunde (fruitbats) um das Haus herum sind eine Schau. Das Haus ist gepflegt und Mary erfüllt einem jeden Wunsch. Man kann bei Ihr auch Frühstück und Abendessen bestellen. Das haben wir auch mehrmals getan und haben es nicht bereut. Die kreolische Küche ist sehr lecker, sie ist eine sehr gute Köchin. Wir hatten einen Mietwagen, um die ganze Insel zu erkunden. Das ist ratsam, weil man doch weit im Süden der Insel ist. Eine Bushaltestelle ist direkt am Haus. Der Bus verkehrt ca. jede Stunde. Auf jeden Fall eine Alternative zum Mietwagen. Wir fühlten uns wie im Paradies. März ist ein perfekter Monat um auf die Seychellen zu reisen. Während unserer zwei Wochen hat es nur einmal kurz geregnet, sonst nur sonniges Wetter, angenehmer Wind und nicht so hohe Wellen. Wir kommen wieder!

ausgesprochen schöne Lage mit Blick von der Terasse auf den Indischen Ozean. Absolut nette Gastgeber, man merkt, dass alles liebevoll gestaltet ist, das Abendessen war fantastisch und genau dass , was wir brauchten am Tag unserer Anreise. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt !

Nous avons passé 3 jours magnifiques dans La maison d'Elenia et Mary. La Maison est un peu sur les hauteurs, donc ventilée, ce qui nous a permis de prendre nos dîners et petits déjeuners sur la terrasse. La maison est très confortable et la clim. dans les chambres appréciable. Mary et son mari sont nous ont accueillis très chaleureusement et nous ont préparé de très bons repas. Encore un grand merci à eux pour leur gentillesse. Nous reviendrions volontiers.

Site calme et accueil sympathique

Un grand merci à Marie (à son mari,sans oublier son fils) pour son accueil chaleureux et sa gentillesse. Le séjour a été très agréable. Le site est un peu éloigné de la mer et une voiture est obligatoire mais le cadre est calme, beau et le petit torrent qui se trouve à coté de la maison est source de détente. Nous recommandons les bons plats de Marie, surtout ses poissons au four qui sont un délice....Les photos représentent bien le lieu. Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir si nous en avons l'occasion. Perfect quick trip

Mary was a wonderful host and her hospitality was excellent. The house was great- clean and perfect for us. Mary helped arrange a car for us which I definitely recommend as transportation on the island is limited. While we were sad that It rained we still enjoyed our stay and will recommend Mary’s place

Unbelievably peaceful flats in the middle of paradise

It sounds cliché, but paradise is all I can use to describe the location and the island itself. Each flat is spacious, impeccable and fully equipped with all the comforts you need so you can truly relax. Full kitchens to cook with quality pots and pans! Barbecue. Washers. You name it, it’s there! We stayed in the top flat that had a wide, open space. It was bigger than what we needed as there’s a shower and other room(s) downstairs, too. The flat was so clean and comfortable, just chillin’ on the balcony watching the sea, birds, and flying foxes while enjoying the sound of the river AND the sound of the ocean waves was pure heaven. We traveled around and we prefer this area to other parts of the island, away from the highly touristy areas. There are minimarts nearby where u can get all you need to cook. The nearest beach at Anse Royal have great snorkeling. The warm, genuine hospitality made an already amazing experience just so much more memorable. Mary and Gerard are such warm, kind, personable, hosts that have taught us so much about the island, culture, and FOOD. Mary is an amazing chef!!!!! Forget those overpriced restaurants with small portions. Whether you want grilled fish or meats, curries, or anything else (ask about the breadfruit!), Mary and Gerard have you covered. Our stay at this flat wasn’t just a holiday rental, it became a home and a total, unforgettable experience that will always stay in our hearts. I hope we’re lucky enough to come back.

Excellent accueil, maison très confortable

Notre séjour chez Marie et sa famille absolument parfait. La maison est très agréable, la vue imprenable, la literie très bonne, mais le meilleur reste la qualité de leur accueil, les délicieux petits déjeuners et superbes plats préparés par Marie. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié leurs attentions à notre égard et leur entière disponibilité. Très bien placé dans la plus belle partie de Mahé, cet endroit est parfait, nous le recommandons.

Place to be!

Przestronny dom, pięknie położony!!!

To był doskonały wybór: duża, przestronna willa wśród oszałamiającej zieleni, szeroki taras z widokiem na ocean, zadbany ogród, osobna pralnia, na zewnątrz stacjonarny grill. Dom usytuowany przy bardzo malowniczej drodze w poprzek wyspy. Wystarczy zjechać z górki, by znaleźć się na pięknej plaży lub pójśc do sklepu. Świetna baza wypadowa na wycieczki po wyspie. Spędziliśmy tu 2 kojące tygodnie, w cudownym cieple. Gospodarze mieszkają po drugiej stronie drogi. Są niezwykle sympatycznymi, życzliwymi, gościnnymi ludźmi. Przygotowywali nam pyszne sosy do ryb, objaśniali nazwy roślin i owoców. Mówią po francusku i angielsku. Polecamy to miejsce każdemu, kto ceni sobie ustronne miejsca z dala od turystycznego zamętu, kto chce bliżej poznać życie tubylców, zanurzyć się w ciszy i jednocześnie komfortowo odpocząć.

Merveilleux séjour

Nous avons séjourné du 17 au 21 octobre 2016 dans cette magnifique Villa, nous étions 9, 6 adultes et 3 enfants de 2 ans 1/2 et 3 ans ½. La villa est très bien située tout près d’anse Royale, la végétation qui l’entoure est luxuriante, et on ne se lasse pas de regarder la mer depuis les balcons de la maison. Les pièces sont spacieuses, joliment décorées, propres, il y a tout le nécessaire pour cuisiner. Nous avons été accueillis par Eliena et Mary, qui ont été à nos petits soins durant tout le séjour, elles nous ont conseillés mais aussi aidé pour la location de voiture (indispensable vu la situation de la villa). Nous avons terminé notre séjour par un succulent repas Créole (carry poisson, poisson grillé, salade de papaye…) préparé par Mary qui est une excellente cuisinière, ce fut le meilleur repas du séjour. Nous recommandons vivement cette location. Vous ne serez pas déçus !!! Nous reviendrons. Merci encore à Eliena, Mary et toute la famille Mondon.

Superb Destination!

Spent 9 nights at this fantastic getaway and I cannot recommend it highly enough. The accommodations are very comfortable in every regard. The garden and balcony views are gorgeously peaceful. Mary's cooking is excellent, better than many of the restaurants we tried. Above all else, the hospitality was second to none. Mary and Gerard were very caring and attentive to our needs and their efforts made all the difference during our stay. When I return to Mahe in the future I will absolutely be staying at Bougainvilléa again!

Family run self catering guesthouse where we take pride in our property and love hosting guests from all around the world with a touch of the creole spirit . You have your full independence with your private accommodation close to our residence, and always there for you , to be of assistance. You accommodation is cleaned every second day, with fresh linen.
