Beautifully converted stone cottage in the heart of the Isle of Wight 772

5 miles from beautiful Yarmouth harbour, 6 miles from central Newport and 9 miles from the renowned yachting hub of Cowes, Elm Place is located off the main road in rolling farmland, with distant sea views.

Set in beautiful grounds, Elm Place offers ample living space and can be rented as a five bed or can be partially rented as a three bed or two bed. Finished to a high standard, whilst retaining a warm, homely feel, Elm Place is the perfect get away for four to ten people.

Enjoy a barbeque on the patio during the summer or snuggle up around the log burner in the winter, the Isle of Wight is the perfect destination at any time of the year and the cottage is the perfect base for exploring.

Local attractions include The Needles, Blackgang Chine, Ventnor's Botanical Gardens, Osbourne House and Carisbrooke Castle to name but a few. Discover the Island's dinosaur heritage, visit one of many wildlife centres, enjoy a festival, or try a new water sport at one of many beaches.

Fantastic and beautiful property in a really peaceful location. Sally was lovely and friendly, the house spacious and clean. The little walled garden was a massive highlight. Out of all the places we have stayed on the island this was by far the best. Will definitely be back as soon as we possibly can!

A very enjoyable stay. The property is well equipped, especially the kitchen which makes it a perfect rental for a self catering break.

Great cottage and beautiful location

We had 5 days (4 nights) stay in Rose Cottage. Beautiful location and great property - plenty of space for the 5 of us. Weather was good and having a glass (or 2) outside in our own garden helped us chill out after our days exploring the IoW. We’ll deffo be booking again.

Lovely stay in a greatly property

Very spacious and had everything you need to stay for a week. Check in was simple and we had everything that we needed. The property is clean, hosts are friendly and it is in a great location if you want a quiet area with pubs and a shop a few minutes drive away. Thank you

Bank holiday weekend break

We had an amazing stay at Rose Cottage. It is unbelievably spacious, both inside and out- perfect for a family get together. The house is very well equipped and in a fantastic location. No more than half an hour drive to anywhere on the island but a great place to enjoy peace, tranquility and nature.

Rose Cottage

As a group we love the setting of the cottages to be able to relax away from the Festival. Just cant fault how the team look after us, expecially our mate Sally. Just fantastic and we keep goin back. Cheers Spence & Gang

Beautiful, spacious cottage

Lovely holiday in this beautiful, spacious cottage. Well equipped. Fantastic kitchen. Small private garden with BBQ for outdoor eating. Access to field at the back for kids to play. Great location, secluded countryside yet just 12min drive from supermarkets in Newport. Host was very friendly and helpful.

Hi really lovely cottage, so.much room and great outdoor space for walking mabel the spaniel. Well equipped with everything u need. Only thing i will say is we stripped our bed s and the pillows were pretty nasty, no protector on them , badly stained , one had blood on it , new pillows needed. But we had a really happy holiday. Thank you.

Lovely cottage, ideal location

This is a lovely large cottage, 3 very large bedrooms, all ensuite. Huge kitchen with everything you'll need for your stay (could do with a pair of oven gloves- forgot to mention that to Sally) Lovely large lounge, very comfortable for the 5 of us and 2 dogs. Nothing was too much trouble for Sally- thanks for the Indian recommendation- it was lush!

Amazing property

I found this property on Vrbo and thought it was cheaper than most places and too good to be true! I was wrong the cottage was amazing so spacious, ideal location, own private field which our dogs loved! sally the property manager was amazing will really miss her! We asked why the price was lower and she said the owner wanted to keep the costs lower with the horrible years of covid which I thought was really lovely! Totally recommend this place you won’t be disappointed!
