石造りの改造されたコーチハウスと穀倉は、1950年代までこの場所で運営されていた古代の水車小屋に使用されていました。現在の所有者は、独立したバスルーム（シャワー付き）を備えた魅力的なオープンプランのアパートメントに改装しました。設備の整ったキッチン/ダイニングエリア、ベッドルームエリア（カーテンで開閉可能）、シングルベッド2台とダブルソファベッドがあります。せせらぎの小川、木のブランコ、トランポリン、手入れの行き届いた芝生、屋外用家具を備えた2ヘクタールの静かな庭にあります。プロパティはよく使用される歩道の交差点にあり、楽しいワイト島ロバサンクチュアリからフィールドを歩いてわずか数分です。スティープヒルコーブ、シャンクリン、ベントナーなどの美しいビーチに簡単にアクセスできます。多くのパブ、レストラン、カフェのある美しい観光村ゴッズヒルから1.6 km（1マイル）です。

We enjoyed the garden and were allowed to pick fresh plums, apples,tomatoes & figs. Our old dog also enjoyed the garden but I would have been more relaxed if there had been a barrier between the cottage and the busy main road.

Paradise!!

Stunning property & grounds with a beautiful stream & gardens galore. Historic grain mill turned into an adorable cottage with all the amenities. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend to others. Especially fabulous for families, our boys adored staying in the Romany Wagon! We were fortunate to meet the owners, Rebecca & Guy, who are lovely hosts. Very close to both the ferry port & sights we visited.

Lovely family retreat!

Me and my wife just enjoyed a mini break to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary, along with our two toddlers and little dog. We had a wonderful weekend and wished we could stay a bit longer! The Granary is in an ideal location to relax and unwind and a short drive away from the beach and other activities. We will almost certainly be aiming to return in 2026!

Relaxing cottage

The garden is beautiful, the green surrounding the cottage makes everything very peaceful...a perfect break for all three of us (Westie included)

Good location and nice property

I liked it. The romany caravan in the grounds was lovely and the property itself was very nice. The check in was easy. There is a long and interesting garden. It was easy to reach everywhere on the island.

A delightful cottage in the most charming garden

The Granary is quirky and very comfortable, equipped with everything you need for a self catering stay. The garden is just wonderful and the real highlight of our stay. Rebecca is a five star host and we can’t recommend her property highly enough. With a car or bicycles, it’s in an ideal location for exploring the island. Without, the buses are frequent, convenient and inexpensive.

More improvements forthcoming in the ever changing garden. We will consider where to site a microwave in the Granary - it is a matter of balancing convenience with aesthetics in the small kitchen area! We always try to give guests a warm welcome.

Relaxing

The Granary was ideal for our use. Everything we needed was there and our small dog (Chihuahua - Snoopy) was delighted with the garden! We really enjoyed our stay and wished we had been there for long. Sorry not to meet Rebecca - next time!

Magical birthday getaway

The property was located in an idyllic part of the IOW. Very peaceful and calming, felt truly relaxed and safe. A great garden to explore and allow the dog to roam in. It was very useful to be able to self cater in the modest but functional kitchen. A great base to set off on a day of adventures and return in the evening for some down time. The hosts were very lovely and we look forward to returning!

Enjoyable Summer Break

My family and I stayed at the French Mill Granary for 3 nights. We really enjoyed it. Our teenage daughter slept in the gypsy caravan which she loved. The garden was fabulous (our dog loved to run and discover various parts) and the swing was a hit. Everyone was very helpful giving us ideas about the places we could visit. We really enjoyed the Isle of Wight and staying at the the Granary which is in a very good location to travel around. Thank you

A very happy stay on the much loved Isle of Wight

Loved staying at the French Mill. The Romany Wagon was definitely an added bonus for the girls. It gave them a truly magical and memorable experience. Ideally located and charming holiday rental property for visiting the island. Only sorry not to have been able to actually meet our host Rebecca who was very communicative and helpful before and during our stay.. we were also pretty fortunate with the weather. Hope to come back one day …

Short Break

The Granary is very sweet and very nicely fitted out. Perfectly suited for either a short break or a young family perhaps. It is set in lovely grounds which when I was there were full of daffodils. I have two small gripes: the mattress made my back ache it was so hard and the internet was definitely dodgy on the first night but then work very well afterwards

Ideal for us

Lovely and cosy with double glazing. Couldn`t hear the main road or the incredible winds we experienced when we were there. A lovely run in the garden for Chief who enjoyed it there. IOW people, as polite as ever and the island was so dog friendly, there was nowhere we wern`t accepted. Perfect! Lovely hosts that were as efficient and friendly as possible. We are delighted that a client has found the Granary cosy in winter, as this has definitely not been the case in the past! We double glazed all the windows over the past six months, and it is gratifying to know that the expense has been worth it. John was a very easy guest who made a point of supporting local businesses and who really appreciated what the island has to offer, even in winter. He left the place beautifully clean and was just the type of guest we like!
