Apartment was as advertised both in word and pictures. Great location next to an Underground stop. Very easy to get around the city. Would stay again.

Great property and location

We enjoyed our stay at this apartment in Mayfair. The management was very helpful and quick to respond with questions/requests. The unit interior is older but it was very clean and comfortable. The location was very good...almost too good because our only complaint would be the noise from the street at night because it was one of the main shopping areas in London. Overall we are glad we stayed so close to everything and despite it being so busy it felt like a very safe area. The unit was less than a block from a subway station so you could get anywhere very quickly. Highly recommend the unit and the management company.

Not what was promised

This was, without any doubt the most unpleasant property that I have stayed in. Firstly, the property was not what was promised. While the property is in a stunning location it is run down and poorly maintained. For example, the property was advertised as having airconditioning: there were mini units in each room that had ducts connected to the windows. There were no proper seals and the ducting was coming away. Each of the bedrooms had beds cramped in such that it was difficult to access them. The advertising does not suggest that the property is run down. The second bathroom was tiny and was not functional for any adult. Secondly and of even greater concern was the level of cleanliness of the apartment. The bathrooms were unclean, the areas around the beds were unclean and one of the beds had multiple types of hair on and under the covers. The washing machine was filthy with a build up of dirt on the outside. In the lounge room, the coffee table had some form of cloth on it which had caked on food. The dining table had chairs around it that were broken. We were very disappointed. We took photos of all of these terrible features and raised this with the Owner / Manager who refused a refund. We had to pay up front and months in advance. We left the property after one night - having paid for seven. I will not be returning.
