The Happy Hedgehog (2 bedrooms sleeps up to 3) is just 600 yards from the beach!

Born and bred in London I have had a wonderful career in advertising and marketing spanning over 30 years.
Over many years I visited Mundesley for my annual breaks and fell in love with this stunning coastal village,as a result of which I now live about 20 minutes drive away from Mundesley.I moved to Norfolk 12 years or so ago and purchased my first holiday cottage.
I enjoy meeting new and my many returning guests immensely and do my utmost to ensure their stays and both enjoyable,personal and memorable.
I manage a large cottage (Twizzle Cottage)in Sheringham sleeping up to 8 (4 bedrooms) and have three chalets in Mundesley here on the same quiet privately owned friendly chalet park.All three chalets are very different,all themed as the names would suggest and fully equipped to a high standard with everything guests should need during their stay.The Bee’s Knees (1 bedroom sleeping 2) and two Hoots(next door to The Bee’s Knees,also one bedroom sleeping 2),plus The HappyHedgehog (2 bedrooms sleeping up to 3) is a minute walk across the park.
Therefore we are able to accommodate up to 7 guests in total when all 3 chalets are booked together.
All properties have been recently renovated and are under the same ownership and personally managed by myself.

Situated just 600yds from Mundesley’s amazing award winning sandy beach and amenities in the beautiful unspoilt coastal village.The Happy Hedgehog is a spacious 2 bedroom homely elegant quirky chalet,sleeping up to 3 and has 2 bedrooms (a double and a single),a shower room with vanity unit,basin,wc and shower cubicle.A fully equipped galley kitchen with integrated dishwasher and fridge (small freezer compartment),kettle,microwave,toaster,built in oven(2 cooking rings),lounge,dining area,Tv,board games and books for all ages/tastes.Brochures for local attractions and information folder for guests provided.
The chalet is double glazed throughout.A private patio to the front with bench seating is a real sun trap on sunny days.Private allocated parking is alongside the chalet.
The chalet park Wifi is free,unlimited for guests but please be aware it can be slow at times which we as chalet owners are not in control of.
All bed linen supplied,beds are made up with quality linen ready for guests arrival.
Basic cleaning items are supplied with a starter pack of toilet rolls,kitchen roll,hand soaps etc.Tea towels are supplied but please be aware guests are kindly requested to bring hand,beach and bath towels as these are NOT supplied.
We provide a complimentary welcome pack consisting of tea,coffee, sugar, bread, butter and lovely fresh eggs from our own chickens(providing of course our girls are laying) which prove very popular with returning guests.
Short breaks welcome (from 2 night min stay) excluding peak season/ bank/school holidays,please enquire.
Full weeks min 7 day stays only during July and August,Friday only changeover.
Check in is 2pm,I will meet you personally at the chalet (I don’t live in the village so please be prompt)to show you around and give you the key.Check out is by 10am
Electricity is operated by coin meter so please remember to bring some £1 coins.
We operate a strict no pets policy.
No smoking,no bicycles.
Children 8years and over welcome.

We provide and pride ourselves with a personal service to ensure all our guests are well looked after and it is our aim to do our utmost to help so guests have a fabulous time whilst staying at the Happy Hedgehog.
We are able to accommodate up to 7 guests when all three chalets (on the same site)are booked together(please also see Two Hoots and The Bee’s Knees which are next to each other).
Sometimes an earlier check in (might) be available please enquire Astro’s could be confirmed a day or two before your arrival date if at all possible.
