Liakoto Stonewall House Ground Floor is an apartment that combines traditional Cretan
architecture with modern design. It blends the rough texture of Cretan natural stones with the warmth of wooden furniture and vibrant colors. Liakoto Villa is designed with a focus on simplicity and nature.

Inside, this unique apartment offers 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, accommodating 4 to 5
people. The main hall consists of a fully equipped spacious kitchen with a dining area for 6
and a living room featuring a stone fireplace, a sofa, a TV, and a stereo system. The master
bedroom is generously sized and includes a queen-size bed and a large wardrobe. The second bedroom also features a spacious wardrobe and two single beds, ideal for kids or teenagers. The highlight of the apartment is the spacious front veranda with a large table, allowing you to enjoy views of the pool, the garden, and the village at any time.

Liakoto Villa's outdoor area includes a large swimming pool with a jacuzzi, sunbathing with sunbeds and umbrellas, a beautiful garden with trees and plants native to Crete, and a fully equipped barbecue area.

The villa is located at the foothills, just a 5-minute drive from Makrigialos village in southern Crete. The apartment is ideally situated in a natural setting, allowing easy access to the picturesque village of Makri Gialos, the stunning Pefki Gorge, and the crystal-clear sandy beaches of southern Crete.

Apartment with nice view and pool

We really enjoyed the pool area and terrace. Fantastic view! The distance to the town is about 1.5 km. We once got free paddle surfing. Can recommend renting a boot and go swimming in the deep blue.

First taste of Crete - wow, just wow...

I stayed at this property for 12 days in August 2023 with various members of my family there part-time - lots of comings and goings! My brother and his family stayed at the upstairs villa. This was an ideal location and set-up for a group get-away. Eleni was delightful, welcoming and responsive throughout. Our plans had to change a little and she was there to support - nothing was too much trouble. The villa itself is spacious, cool (very necessary) and generally well equipped. I left a couple of suggestions with Eleni to make it even better. Loads of wardrobe space for the enthusiastic packers! The pool was fabulous and very well maintained - lots of fun was had by all. The villa is situated up the hill from the village but it's walkable (circa 15 minutes) using a few paths (not tried in the dark). The village itself has plenty of very good restaurants and small shops - recommended. Nearest supermarket is a 20 minute drive way. Green Beach (very close) was our favourite beach and taverna. Quiet with a plentiful supply of shaded sunbeds (€8 for 2). Overall, just a fabulous stay. Would highly recommend.

Toller Aufenthalt

Eleni war ein toller Host! Sie hat uns sehr nett mit einem super lecker gefüllten Kühlschrank empfangen und hat uns ganz tolle Empfehlungen für unseren Aufenthalt gegeben. Die Anlage ist sehr schön und gepflegt! Irreführend war für uns nur, dass wir dachten, dass wir das ganze Haus gebucht hätten. Jedoch war es für zwei Parteien, was final aber überhaupt nicht gestört hat. Der Ort ist super süß und wir können die Wohnung mit gutem Gewissen weiter empfehlen.

Extraordinary views

Eleni was a super host and she went out of her way to make our holiday one to remember. Upon arrival she met us at 1am to help us find the Villa. She was thoughtful in providing some small touches such as having a small breakfast hamper for us which was appreciated! The Villa is a home from home and it has everything you need to make your stay comfortable. The swimming pool was the highlight of the holiday and the views incredible. Makry Gialos has plenty to offer and Eleni was helpful in signposting us to restaurants and things to do near the Villa. The food was amazing! The beaches were clean, organised with sunbeds and cafes. We also enjoyed all the water sports activities at Mikri Poli hotel beach with friendly and helpful staff. We would definitely return!

Great stay

We had a wonderful time today in this nice accommodation. Eleni and her father were very nice and helped us everytime we needed something . The place is very quiet and clean . The swimming pool was very clean and perfect for young children . Looking forward going back .

Ottimo e consigliabile

Casa in ottima posizione e ben mantenuta. Aspetti migliori: Piscina favolosa (ma da condividere con altro appartamento se non vuoto, come invece per fortuna era nella nostra settimana!) Posizione ottima (in alto con bellissima vista mare) Cortesia dell’ospite sopra la media Aspetti da rivedere: Un solo bagno non finestrato Mancanza di zanzariere alle finestre Nel complesso ottima settimana! Consigliabile.
