Our family stayed 4 nights in this mountain apartment. Locating the property was tricky as was identifying the correct apartment #, so make sure you have a clear idea of where you are going before arrival. Hint: it is right by Bar Toto and ensure host tells you which apartment #… The hosts were very responsive in addressing issues that came up (propane tank for stove needed replacing, wi-if service not initially turned on and the water for the washer initially turned off). There was no ‘instruction book’ at the property so we had to figure a lot out on our own or contact the hosts. The bathroom, while small, had a wonderful hot and high water pressure rainfall shower head. The bed in the primary bedroom was comfortable and linens adequate. The bunk beds were sized more for children and not a full sized adult.
The hosts are newer to renting and I think they will learn as they go…. Offering small amenities like a fresh dish sponge and having hand soap in the bathroom would be nice touches. The kitchen pots/pans could use some updating. The apartment is a pleasant 1 mile walk to the town proper, so is not immediately downtown. It is off the main road so is quieter and has a lovely view when sitting outside on the relaxing chairs. The nearest grocery store is a Conrad brand and is on the same side of the town as the apartment. Cortina was a lovely and central place to stay while visiting sites in the Eastern Dolomites.
