Sophistication and a charming town… the perfect mix!

It’s never easy trying to book something online and you always hope that it will meet your expectations… This booking exceeds. We were two couples visiting Lake Garda for about a week and this gem of a villa was perfect for us. It hits many notes … style and sophistication meets quiet privacy in a village that is not touristy and offers the perfect mix of restaurants, with lake and town experiences. Check in was easy with Laura and what questions were not answered were found in the well thought out binder…. from excellent restaurant suggestions to how to take the garbage out. Each bedroom in the stunning villa is on a different floor so it provides quiet and respite for each adult couple… ( there are three bedrooms all with en suite bathrooms with great water pressure for a hot shower after a long day of touring). The views from each of the bedrooms windows offer a lovely lake view and stunning sunrise pictures. It is exactly what I envisioned for the perfect Villa in my minds eye. Each bedroom has a different style and detail to make it special and your own balcony to enjoy a moment of relaxation. Beds are comfortable and provide a great nights sleep, extra linens and comforters are available if needed. There is excellent air-conditioning if you do not want your windows open for the cool lake breezes. Its architectural details make this a special Villa, the architect and owner took a traditional villa and with an exquisite eye to detail and vision turned it into a piece of contemporary art itself, and the artwork is the jewelry to the Villa. The lower level provides the common gathering area spaces, eat in kitchen, living room dining room, and an outdoor alfresco area which we used to have our cocktails or breakfast each morning under the wisteria vines. We got our morning pastries and delicious fruit from the markets The lake is minutes walk to a lovely promenade And if it’s swimming you are looking for there is a beach club that you can get chairs/umbrella, with a restaurant that provides good food and drinks…. expressing how lovely this village is and how perfect a spot the villa is in is not to be believed until you are there! If it’s arts you are looking for ….we were able to see a concert in the open air Amphitheater with the lake as a backdrop as we were amazed by the Orchestra… A less than five minute walk from the Villa. It all had a huge impact on how perfect our vacation was in this wonderful villa and village.

L'art de vivre a l'Italienne

Gardone Riviera superbe endroit au bord du Lac , la villa est très agréable , maison d'architecte, les chambres et les salles de bains sont magnifiques, la situation dans une zone piétonne , avec les restaurants et les petits commerces de produits locaux ( surtout la petite épicerie ) est vraiment un plus, bon accueil, disponibilité et réactivité des interlocuteurs . Maison originale et de qualité...

Cette maison est bien située, en centre village, proche de petits commerces (petite épicerie, boucherie et boulangerie sympas, et de restaurants), et du "Vittoriale" (D'Annunzio...). Elle est à 600 m à pied d'une petite plage (celle du casino). Elle est donc à distance souhaitable du bord du lac (densité de la circulation et bruit). Le parking est commode et simple d’accès. La maison est architecturalement belle et bien aménagée. Les chambres sont confortables, avec sanitaires individuels, et vue sur le lac. Tout est climatisé. La cuisine, le salon et la cour qui sert de salle à manger sont en rez de chaussée, assez sombres, et sans vue (mais plus fraîches). Il n'y a pas de jardin, ni de chaises longues ou transats (ce qui est dommage...). Nous ne regrettons pas notre séjour. (Une petite formation sur l'utilisation des commandes électriques d'allumage des lumières serait la bienvenue à l'arrivée!!)

Ein tolles Haus, wir haben uns super wohl gefühlt.Direkt in der Altstadt, mit tollen Restaurants!

Schönes Atrium für gemeinsame Spieleabende! Kleine Einkaufslädchen (Bäcker, Metzger) sind direkt um die Ecke. Alles perfekt.

Lovely Townhouse in Gardone

Great property in beautiful Gardone, convenient location for exploring Lake Garda. Lots of good restaurants/cafes right outside the door and a short walk down to the lake. We were two families sharing the house and it worked well. The communal areas are on the ground floor, which you either need to take the internal elevator to or go outside and downstairs, this was a bit of a pain after a couple of days. The outdoor space is lovely but it doesn't get the sun and has no loungers so is not somewhere we spent anytime in the day. Overall the property is well maintained, nicely furnished and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Communication with the owners was easy and they were very accommodating.

wunderbare Tage in wunderbarem Haus mit wunderbarer Vermieterin

Wir haben das Haus mit acht Personen voll belegt und hatten wirklich ausreichend Platz. Unsere gehbehinderte Mutter konnte problemlos mit dem Aufzug in "ihr" Reich im zweiten Stock kommen, die Kinder / Enkel aus aller Welt haben sich auf die andren Stockwerke im Haus verteilt. Der grosse Esstisch im Hof bot genügend Platz für gemeinsame Mahlzeiten und da wir passionierte Köche dabei hatten haben wir die Küche voll ausgenutzt. (Toller Gasherd!) Laura hat geduldig unsere wg. Stau verzögerte Ankunft abgewartet und das Haus mit kurzen Erläuterungen wo-was-ist übergeben. Parkplätze für die Autos gab´s ein paar Ecken weiter, die Haltemöglichkeit vor dem Haus ist praktisch zum Ein und Ausladen. Nachts hört man in einigen Zimmern manchmal die BesucherInnen der umliegenden Restaurants auf dem Nachhauseweg ..... dafür liegt das Haus halt mitten im Dorf und ein paar Läden für täglichen Bedarf sind in unmittelbarer Umgebung. Alles in allem: wir fanden es toll und sehr erholsam. Vielen Dank nochmal an Laura!

Zauberhaftes Ambiente

Wir haben uns vom ersten Augenblick zu Hause gefühlt. Paula hat uns sehr nett empfangen und das gesamte Haus vorgestellt. Es ist liebevoll eingerichtet und hat alles was das Herz begehrt. Die Lage ist optimal und der Blick auf den Gardasee fantastisch. Es war eine zauberhafte Woche für alle.

We were here for a wedding. The accommodation is wonderful and Laura was helpful in all ways. The small village location is perfect if you just want to wander around and get to know the people local to the area. We felt completely at home and would return without hesitation. We held a pre-wedding party at the house and those who came loved experiencing time in an authentic Italian home.

Lebensfreude, Sonne, gute Laune, tolle Villa ....

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub in der Villa Great Lake. Die Villa liegt in einer wunderschönen Gegend. Es ist alles da was man benötigt um sich wohlzufühlen. Der Kontakt im Vorfeld war einfach und unkompliziert, der Empfang herzlich und auch bei der Abreise sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Zur Begrüßung gab es Käse und Prosecco. Wir waren zwei Familien, dies hat wunderbar funktioniert, alle hatten genug Platz und wir haben unseren Urlaub sehr genossen. Vielen lieben dank.....

Beautiful,well maintained,tastefully renovated.

We had a lovely holiday in this very special house. We loved being right next to shops and restaurants, yet the house was quiet and private. The rooms were beautifully done,comfortable and restful. We especially enjoyed meeting Laura and family, they were so friendly and welcoming. We will definitely try to return.

Tolles Haus in wunderschöner Lage

Das Haus hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Eine tolle Lage mitten im verkehrsberuhigten historischen Ortskern mit Bäcker, Metzger und Gemischtwarenladen direkt nebenan, so dass man alles nötige sofort und zu Fuß besorgen kann. Für den Großeinkauf gibt es einen 7Tage/24Std. geöffneten Carrefour Supermarkt in Salo (zumindest war das Anfang September 2016 so :-) ) Zur Seepromeande mit Bootsanleger kann man ebenfalls gut zu Fuß gehen und Ausflüge über den See machen. Alle Wohn/Schlafräume haben kräftige Klimaanlagen gegen die Hitze. Die 3 Schlafzimmer sind wunderschön und haben tollen Seeblick. Einzig das Kinderzimmer mit dem Stockbett ist sehr klein und schaut nur auf die Straße. Da man beim Schlafen eh nichts sieht, ist das aber zu verkraften. Im glycinierüberwachsenen Innenhof kann man toll zusammensitzen, es gibt sogar einen Grill (den wir allerdings nicht ausprobiert haben). Mückenmittel sollte man dabei haben oder besorgen. Durch die 4 Etagen läuft man viel auf und ab, so dass der Aufzug schon eine Erleichterung ist, gerade beim Gepäck oder Einkäufe verräumen. Laura und Jacopo haben uns sehr gut eingewiesen und betreut. Vielen Dank an Jacopo nochmal für die schnelle Hilfe bei unserem medizinischen Notfall. Wir können das Haus nur empfehlen.

schöner Aufenthalt am Gardasee

Die Lage des Hauses ist in der Tat herausragend, der Kontakt mit Frau Angeli sehr angenehm. Die Küche war komplett ausgestattet, der Innenhof als schattiges Plätzchen im Sommer ideal. Ein paar Kleinigkeiten sollten jedoch wieder renoviert werden. Alles in allem ein toller Ort zum Urlauben.

Schöner Urlaub, sehr gepflegtes Haus, sehr netter Kontakt

Wir haben eine tolle Woche in der Villa verbracht. Es ist wirklich ein sehr schönes Haus. Leider fehlt jedoch ein Garten oder eine Terrasse. Die 3 Balkone und der Innenhof sind schön, aber für tagsüber nicht wirklich zum verweilen und entspannen geeignet, da sie entweder zu schmal (Balkone) oder gefliest und im Schatten (Innenhof) sind. Alles in allem aber trotzdem ein schöner Urlaub.

Fabulous villa in a dreamy location

The villa was fab, and it's situation in a quite beautiful area up high in Gardone was perfect. Local shops and restaurants were only steps away and first rate. Fantastic villa in a fairytale setting.

The website photos do not do justice to the villa as it is full of beautiful artefacts and breathtaking views. The village is like a set from a movie and is well equipped for everything you need,shops,restaurants ,a beautiful church and even a concert venue! We didn't have enough time to properly relax and enjoy it so would love to visit again. Laura was lovely and came to find us on arrival on her yellow moped! She also helped with insect repellent- thank you Laura!

Un lieu de séjour inoubliable

La Villa Glicine offre tout le confort auquel on peut rêver. La décoration est de grand goût, rien ne manque au niveau de l'équipement, les chambres sont spacieuses et l'air conditionné présent dans l'ensemble des pièces. La Villa est située dans le village alto; ce qui en fait un endroit très calme, proche des petits commerces et de nombreux restaurants. Le parking n'est pas éloigné du logement et protégé. Une mention spéciale à Laura Angeli qui apporte sa touche italienne avec beaucoup de gentillesse et d'amabilité. Elle est toujours présente quand il le faut et nous a accueilli avec beaucoup de conseils utiles. Bref un 10 sur 10 pour cette habitation, à recommander sans aucune hésitation. Luc G. - Bruxelles

Wonderful house in a wonderful town

Thank for a fantastic week. The house was wonderful, exactly as described and it suited our needs perfectly. The house was clean and well equipped, and with the current heat wave the a/c was was welcome addition. Everything was perfect from the restaurant owners who got to know us that they delivered food to our door to the fireworks over the lake. Laura was fantastic and we would highly recommend this villa to anyone.

Wonderful appartment and service

Via Glicine is a nice apartment / house in a little village just a couple of minutes away from the lake. Beautiful decorated and fully equipped. We loved our stay and would love to come back again. Laura was amazing. Thank you!!!

Mitten im Dorf und ruhig

Wir haben eine tolle Woche in der Villa Glicine verbracht. Das Haus hat eine super Lage und ist sehr geschmacksvoll eingerichtet. Vor der Haustüre findet man alles, was man braucht: Bäcker, Lebensmittel, gute Restaurants. Trotzdem ist es sehr ruhig und man kann seinen Aufenthalt in vollen Zügen geniessen. Laura ist sehr nett und unkompliziert. Gerne wieder .................

Beautiful and outstanding

The property is a very nice place, located in the centre of Gardone, a beautiful and romantic small city. The old building is renewed very carefully and is that for silhouette against standard tourism buildings. We enjoyed our stay very much. The only drop of bitterness is that the terrace is situated on ground level and the wall is masking the outstanding view.

Weekend getaway in old Italian village

We had such a stunning stay at your home Laura - thank you. With parks and sights close by foot, we hardly used the car, although only to fetch groceries. The views of the lake are gorgeous, and the social areas charming. Especially enjoyed the décor of the home. A pity the kitchen was on the basement and only access is via the elevator or outdoor stairs, but then again the kitchen has direct access onto the street level. Comfortable and relaxing, the house is in a charming Italian village, and Laura thanks again for referrals and chats. Take care Allan and Livia
