Riverview is a beautifully styled Cotswold holiday apartment which sleeps four guests, in two well-appointed bedrooms, complete with a modern en-suite and family bathroom. The apartment comprises a stylish open plan kitchen/dining and sitting room, with views of the private patio, communal garden and the valley beyond. Riverview is a dog friendly holiday home and has plenty of countryside to explore right on the doorstep, including many popular walking and cycle routes.

The maximum occupancy for this property is 4 guests. Infants do not count towards the occupancy figure, however, due to space restrictions the occupancy can only be exceeded by 1 additional infant (aged 2 or under)

Beautiful stay just outside Burford

Beautiful large spacious apartment. Loved every minute of our stay. Positioned ideally for exploring the Cotswolds. Villages are no more than 25 minutes away. Would highly recommend this accommodation. Set in a beautiful landscape too. Noticed there is a bright and airy licenced cafe bar on site now called The Country Kiwi not that we went in but it looked lovely. Thank you for our lovely stay

Overall a comfortable well equipt apartment

Initially the apartment was found to be clean and welcoming. However when we emptied the bin after a couple of days, due to an unpleasant smell we noticed there was some rubbish at the bottom of the bin. We informed "myclean" and to be fair they messaged straight back apologised and offered to come and put it right, we cleaned it ourself. When we left we stripped the beds and noticed stains on the mattress covers and pillows they should be replaced and covered. We would return, the garden was nice to have and it was fairly quiet, with good parking. Thanks.

Nice Stay

We had a really nice stay over Christmas with my nan and my partner. The property was comfortable, well suited for a family stay, and we generally felt very at home. One small thing to note: some of the information in the TouchStay app was inaccurate or incomplete, which caused a bit of confusion during our stay. I’ve already flagged this to the host so it can hopefully be updated for future guests. Overall though, we enjoyed our time here and would recommend the property.

4 night stay at Riverview in November

A nice spacious apartment with lovely countryside views, although close to the main road, so there was some traffic noise. We had problems opening and closing the front door of the apartment, which was sticking quite badly, so think this needs adjusting. The second bedroom was on the small size for a double bed, so no space for any storage, apart from a small hanging rail. The kitchen was lacking a few things eg. washing up bowl, and some instructions for the appliances would have been helpful, but we managed ok. Overall though, the apartment was comfortable and warm and my friend and I enjoyed our stay.

Lovely place

We stayed here for a few night’s. It’s a lovely place to stay. Very clean. Tea bags, milk and biscuits were there for us, amongst other items. I do feel it could do with a freshen up, but this did not take away from break. I would definitely go back

We had a lovely stay thank you. We were only there for two nights and so didn’t manage to cover much ground but we really enjoyed a mooch around Burford. We had a takeaway from the curry house which was really good. The house had everything we needed for our stay.

My dear friend and I went to the Cotswolds for a three day break. Riverview was found easily and off we went. Parking was brilliant as you get two spots, the apartment was ground floor and well appointed. The views were magnificent and the drive around the Cotswolds was easy. We had new bedding, towels comfy beds. The facilities could have been more plentiful with tea towels but it was a very comfy and clean stay. We will return.

Modern spacious apartment in need of TLC!

The property is located right on the main road, the A40, so is very noisy and the air seemed quite unhealthy there also. Being on the ground floor, from a security aspect, it's difficult to leave the windows open through the night - the main bedroom only has patio doors, so really can't leave those open at night. There were no fans, so on warm evenings made it quite uncomfortable for sleeping! The internal walls were all quite badly marked, so could certainly do with being redecorated. The fridge internal light didn't work, the dishwasher was pretty useless - most of the pots & glasses came out just as dirty after a cycle (did try a number of different cycles to make sure, but all were as bad), One of the bedside lamps didn't work. The main bedroom had a king-size bed, but had a double duvet, so it wasn't big enough! All in all, we thought it was very overpriced for the number of issues there.

Overall a great stay

Overall, we had a wonderful time during our stay. The apartment has a great view looking out over the fields (but it is directly next to a main road so you hear cars constantly coming and going if you’re sitting on the terrace). The apartment itself was very large, modern and well equipped. The only negatives for us regarding the flat itself is that all the walls are paper thin (including the one separating the other apartments). I could hear very clearly the neighbours conversations word for word. The apartment also has very loud and squeaky doors that were a nightmare when trying not to wake up our baby.

Riverview - the perfect place to stay

A lovely spacious new build ultra modern flat surrounded by countryside. In a good location for sightseeing the best villages in the Cotswolds. The flat was very clean with comfortable beds and a path around the property so we could walk our dog. We were very pleased with everything. The Outpost (a shop and dog friendly cafe) is at the beginning of the driveway so you can get milk and basic essentials. We would be happy to stay there again and would recommend it to friends. We really enjoyed our holiday but the plug in the kitchen sink needs replacing as the water leeks through.

Good for a short break

The apartment is next to the A40 so a bit noisy. It is comfortable and reasonably well equipped but could do with occasional tables in the lounge and bedside tables/cabinets in the smaller bedroom (previously noted in a December 2023 review) to improve guest comfort. Also, the water for the en-suite bath/shower was scalding hot and the thermostat dial did not alter the temperature whichever way it was turned, there is no rubber mat or grab rails to assist you getting in and out of the bath tub. Apart from being dangerous this meant we could not have a shower or bath. Not good! The on-site Cotswolds Outpost is excellent for breakfast or lunch as there are no other eateries within walking distance. The Fox pub is a five minute drive is on the river an also serves excellent food.

First visit to Cotswold

Lovely area very quiete, no paths so need to drive everywhere. The apartment was just like the photos. Large kitchen dining room.nice and modern looking. Kitchen quite well equipped for a short stay. Each bedroom had its own bathroom.one with en-suite the other a bathroom. Dog friendly. For us. The area was just 8 minutes from where we needed to be..would recommend this apartment.

windrush river veiw.

obtaining access to the key was not made clear. it took nearly one hour to finally get into the apartment I think there was a lack of communication somewhere. the key box had been moved. The accommodation was ideal for us as a member had mobility issues. The road can be noisy at times ,as you are beside the A40.it was warm, and modern. near many villages, without long travel. The television did lose its signal a few times, Very spacious and clean living accommodation,

Spacious and ideally located for the Cotswolds

Riverview is very spacious clean and comfy. It is situated beside the A40 and although you can't hear the traffic from inside you can hear it if you wanted to sit out on the patio. The smaller double room had a shelf missing and you could still see the large gaps in the wall which were unsightly. Our friends had to stack some of their storage onto the window cill which wasn't ideal, especially when you wanted to close the blind. However we did have a wonderful stay at Riverview.

Weekend wedding

The apartment was perfect for our stay for a wedding weekend near Burford, especially as there is a good cafe on-site. The beds were very comfy and everything was very clean. The only thing just from a personal view is that the bath towels could be a bit bigger.

A perfect stay in a beautiful location .

Great apartment spacious and comfortable with beautiful views. Would not hesitate to recommend . There is a local shop and farm shop . Did not use but perfect for breakfast .

Great apartment, clean fresh everything you need for a perfect base to explore the area, couldn't fault anything, the fans for the bathrooms didn't seam to come on, minor point. Have recommended the apartment's to family and friend's, and will look to come back for a short winter break.

Perfect getaway location

An ideal location for a getaway to the countryside from city life. Good access to several walking trails with many good pubs serving high-quality food. It was a bit difficult to find the key to the location with misleading information printed on the information sheet. It took 4 telephone calls to get someone on the phone to guide us to the right place in the evening of arrival. The accommodation which is new was very clean with a spacious living-dining-kitchen area but the bedrooms were pretty small but spacious enough for a double bed with minimum facilities. The bathrooms were clean but with no provision for shower gel or a corner shelf for shower gel/shampoo. These could be remedied at a minimal cost but will add to a great deal of convenience and hygiene. Good open space behind the accommodation with an excellent view of the night sky and fields of barley. Within the same compound and within walking distance, there is an excellent restaurant which serves breakfast and lunch from local produce.

Apartment in a modern new apartment complex. If you like to watch the traffic on the a40 and the sound rushing cars, a view of the parking lot of the apartment complex (right next to your terrace) and a shared terrace, then book this location!

Beautiful flat

Beautiful flat, very clean, great location. The key safe is not in the bin store but actually outside the back door to the flat just for reference. But great patio area lovely views. Worth a visit!

Riverview

Excellent apartment for a trip round the Cotswolds . Good parking clean and spacious with lovely views of the surrounding fields . All mod cons so easy to self cater if wanted . Some additional mugs and cutlery would help .. as would a few basics in the cupboard such as salt and pepper .. and a pint of milk on arrival maybe as there are no local shops open unless you arrive early . Some oven gloves would also be good .. having said all that we had a lovely time and are suggestions are just a few little things that would make a difference!
