Augusta Cottage is a delightful Cotswold cottage situated in the picturesque village of Bourton-on-the-Water, which sleeps four guests (no children aged eleven or under permitted), in two bedrooms, with a ground floor shower room and two ensuites. This beautiful home from home, with its spacious living area, well-equipped kitchen and colourful interiors, is a fabulous abode to relax in and spend quality time with loved ones. The outside courtyard is a sun trap in the summer months, making it the perfect place for an alfresco brunch!

This two bedroom holiday cottage in Bourton-on-the-Water is perfectly suited for those looking to get together with family and friends, exploring the local towns and eateries. The accommodation is laid out as follows:

Great stay

Absolutely amazing location, easy to get back to for small breaks with a nice private parking spot right in front. Really clean and cosy cottage, comfy furniture and beds. Shower is a bit dribbly but otherwise spacious and heats up fast. Would defo stay again.

Lovely Bourton on the Water

This property is just a short walk from the centre of Bourton on the Water with its many eating places and attractions. The rest of the beautiful Cotswolds is only a short drive away.

Augusta Cottage is a beautiful, well-equipped cottage located in the heart of Bourton-on-the-Water. You'll be just steps away from the village's best pubs and shops. Celebrating my 70th Birthday in the UK

Sheen and Joe met us upon our arrival and were very pleasant and welcoming. They made themselves available to us if we needed them. The cottage was spacious, comfortable and perfect. I would recommend it and would stay there again in a heart beat.

A wonderful stay

Lovely place to stay

The lovely cottage was in an ideal location for walking without moving the 2 cars all week., we loved it. The cottage was very clean, comfortable and quiet. We met Joe who was very welcoming. We really enjoyed discovering Bourton-on-the-Water and the surrounding area. A more spacious freezer would have been appreciated, due to dietary needs we tend to eat in more.

Cotswolds weekend

We were welcomed early to the accommodation even though it was not quite ready in order to access the fridge and leave our cars whilst we did some early exploration. The location is fantastic on the high street in Boughton on the Water which is typically picturesque. We also enjoyed the surrounding area without using the car by having a leisurely stroll to the Hawkstone brewery. I would recommend this property for the location and convenience.

Perfect home from home.

Our second visit to Augusta Cottage and hopefully not the last. There is absolutely nothing detrimental to say about the cottage. Its position is perfect for accessibility to the village and its plethora of pubs and eateries. Its location is ideal for exploring The Cotswolds, the majority of sights and Cities are under an hour of driving time away. The cottage is spotlessly clean, comfortable and has all the amenities and utilities you could want for a stay in this area including private parking which is a must have in Bourton on the Water. Sheena and Joe the owners live adjacent to the cottage and are lovely but unintrusive hosts. I have no hesitation in recommending Augusta Cottage to family and friends and is our accommodation of choice when visiting the Cotswolds.

Friends 50th get together!

What a fabulous property - clean, easy to find and fully equipped! Hosts were lovely and very helpful. Very local for amenities and bourton in the water is a lively town! Would definitely recommend, lots of entertaining space inside lounge and dining room and outside too

Christmas Visit

Fabulous cottage so cosy and welcoming and it had been decorated for Christmas which was a lovely touch. The location is brilliant with a 1 minute walk to the shops , bars and restaurants. Thoroughly enjoyed will definitely be back. There is a Bed n Breakfast next door which is the same owners but you wouldn't know as the cottage is private. All round lovely visit to a beautiful part of the country.

Beautiful property in a great location

Family get together for long weekend. The house is very well equipped. Warm and very clean. Kitchen has everything you need. Lounge is a great size and very comfortable. Both rooms being en-suite is the main reason I booked the house and the location. lots of instructions throughout the property. Beds are standard doubles which we found too small. Perfectly comfortable but my husband and son are both over 6ft tall. Parking is challenging if you have more than 1 car. Parking in Bourton is extremely expensive and at least 10 minutes walk from property. In the bad weather this can be a bit of a pain. I feel we could have fitted my small car behind my son’s car without causing an obstruction but this was not an option. Would not stay again due to these reasons.
