Property was great. Only confusion we had was with the repots and music / tvs more clarification could help this but all in all it was great for us and the meeting room was amazing for private meetings. If the oversized bed could be made into 2 beds that would be better for some uses. We would use this property again Thank you

What an incredible trip! From soaking in the hot springs and soaring through the mountains on ziplines to enjoying a delicious dinner at the Ore House, every moment was filled with adventure, laughter, and unforgettable memories!Our morning walks were absolutely breathtaking, and the wildlife encounters were beyond anything we could have imagined! We had a bear stroll right past our deck, and just a couple of miles away, we encountered a mama, daddy, and baby moose on another walk! Talk about an experience!We spent time shopping in Old Town, soaked in the hot tub under the most incredible star-filled skies, played countless games of cards, and watched probably a few too many scary movies! And we’re pretty sure everyone even conquered the rock climbing wall!But what made this trip truly special was the time spent together, surrounded by spectacular mountain views, endless laughter, and a home that had absolutely everything we could have wished for.A huge thank-you to the Moving Mountains team and The Porches team for making every detail absolutely perfect. Your hospitality and attention to detail made this experience exceptional from beginning to end.We came for the mountains and adventures, but we’re leaving with memories we’ll treasure forever.Steamboat Springs, you stole our hearts! We loved every minute and cannot wait to come back!

Mountain view is amazing. It would have been fun to have more snow. But at least they made enough snow for one day of skiing. Staff was fantastic and responded as quickly as they could!

Rocking Chair lodge is more than one can imagine. We had 3 generations of family, a total of 15 people ranging in age from 3 - 70. It was a perfect setting with plenty of room to spread out if necessary. The bedroom accommodations are unmatched by any other place we have ever stayed. The furnishings were extensive. The kitchen only has 2 full size sub-zero refrigerators, a full size wine refrigerator, a beverage refrigerator, 2 refrigerator drawers and 2 freezer drawers. That is just the beginning. The property manager, Moving Mountains, was most responsive. Regardless of the issue or question raised, it was rectified within the hour. Moving Mountains was also able to provide suggestions of activities for the different ages of people and obtain discounts for some activities including rafting and renting a pontoon boat. It isn't inexpensive, but this is a case of, you clearly get what you pay for! Highly recommended.

Multi generational trip! Perfect set up

Was very Impressed with Jenny from MM who manages the property. She helped plan our whole visit and regularly checked in. The one downside was just how tricky some of the high end appliances are, but there is a guide for everything. We slept well, loved the front porch, used the AGA stove and had plenty of space with the enormous basement! We loved the location and friendly neighbors. Would rent again!

Exception property expertly managed

Incredible experience all around. The staff at moving mountains were delightful and took great care of us. They took care of all the details including bringing a small gift for our youngest. Also booked a couple of outstanding outings and made our family reunion amazing. I could not recommend more highly.

Family Must have

This home took our breaths away. The architecture, details, and over-the-top everything. We had a wide range of ages from infant, to young children, teens, and adults. There was only joy and awe. This home was more than we could have asked for.

Excellent house, phenomenal management

This house was amazing! The amenities were great with something for kids to play, while adults also had entertainment. The house was big enough for everyone to have their own room and space to find some solitude. Moving Mountains employees were always kind and attentive. Can’t speak highly enough about them!

Perfect house for a big group
