This is a wonderful vacation property. The location has spectacular views. There are so many fun things to do in Steamboat Springs. The owner, property manager and maintenance technician were easy to work with.

Spring Break Skiing

We were lucky enough to stay in this house in the past, and this time was no letdown for sure. It is wonderfully located, fully stocked with everything we needed, and had absolutely no problems. Would love to stay here again someday, and recommend it to anyone who might ask

Top of the world

This is an ideal pick for any vacation in Steamboat. Easy check-in/out process, great communication, and the property is so much more than what the photos depict. Our family enjoyed our stay and would certainly book again.

Perfect for multiple generational family!

The house was perfect for kids to grandparents! All the skiers could easily access the slopes, while the grandparents had a comfortable home with gorgeous views! We had a private chef come in and the kitchen was even up to his standards. We all hope to return one day!!

One of the best summer vacations ever.

80 plus year old couple with 4 daughters, one jiusband and 9 grandkids ages 10 thru 22 who get togerther every mid July to celebrate our anniversary (59 years) and this was one of the best. The house was perfect in every detail. The weather was too warm but with fans we made it thru the evenings. Hiking, houseboat afternoon, alpine slide, playig games at night and just being together for a week. We are looking forward to the 60th next year! The Jacksons from Kentucky.

Great Spring Break Week Home

Excellent property for a large family. Our group included a total of 15. Proximity to Thunderhead Lift was convenient, a short 5 minute walk. Property manager and owner were both responsive to questions and were quick to address and resolve issues. An outstanding experience overall.

This home was great. Perfect for our family and the management and host were very responsive. I don't believe that we have ever stayed in a VRBO that was so well equipped for a large family. Thank you for providing our family with a memorable vacation.

Beautiful property and comfortable stay

Our extended family had a great vacation. The house is beautiful and comfortable for a large group. The kitchen is amazingly well stocked and the two sets of washers and dryers were a wonderful added bonus! We loved the pool table and hot tub too. One of the nicest rentals we have ever visited. Thank you!

Large Family Getaway

Great home for family to getaway to. Clean, spacious, well supplied, and very comfortable. A couple of us were in the SBT GRVL bike race and the garage was great for storing bikes. We enjoyed this home.

Steamboat getaway

The house was very nice, and Carol, the owner, was very accommodating. The home was well-stocked and well-organized, making for a comfortable stay. My only regret is that I didn’t research the pricing more thoroughly, as the rental charge was much higher than it should have been. That said, the experience itself was excellent.

Beautiful house and great location!!

The house was perfect for our ski vacation. There were 13 of us, 8 adults and 5 children. The kitchen was VERY well appointed! We did a lot of cooking and did not need for anything. We felt very at home in your ski house. The location was perfect for skiing and close to all activities in town. Thank you for such a wonderful stay!

Brilliant!

We loved everything about the property, it fit the entire family, was close to slope it easy to ski in and get back to the house afterwards, easy to get in town, and the kitchen was by far the best stocked I’ve ever stayed at in a Rental! The house was cozy clean and perfect. We would definitely come again.

Great ski house for large group

We appreciated the layout, furnishings, and location. This is a very nice ski house with comfortable bedding, terfific kitchen and large gathering rooms. Storage of skis in garage was convenient. Walk to Thunderhead Lift was a nice warmup to the ski day. We would go back again!

This property has it all!

Our group of 11 had a wonderful time and had plenty of space to spread out. We really enjoyed cooking large family meals in the kitchen. It was stocked exceptionally well and we had everything we needed. The property has been lovingly maintained and the communication with both the owner and property manager was excellent. Great stay in Steamboat

Our family and friends thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Walk to Thunderhead Lift. The house is very accommodating for a large group with plenty of beds and room to move around. The host thought of everything in this well stocked and extremely organized home! Heated driveway meant no shoveling of snow in the morning. Dual dishwashers and washer/dryers were an extra nice touch too. We were well taken care of by the hosts and would definitely return for another amazing stay!

Amazing property!

Carol’s place was so amazing. All our children raved about it and it was perfect for our family of 16, including young grandchildren. It was beautiful, very comfortable and in a great location for our ski trip. The kitchen is such a great layout and well appointed with very good quality cooking equipment. We had everything we could have possibly wanted or needed. Thank you Carol!!

The house was originally built to resemble a wooden ski chalet. We have attempted to keep the warm and casual feel of the chalet while incorporating a floor plan and the upgrades necessary to host a large group of family and friends.
