Bristow's Barn is a gorgeous listed thatched property, sympathetically renovated last year and very well designed with the comfort of both humans and dogs in mind. The views over the quiet fields are just what you need for a relaxing break away in the Norfolk countryside. Downstairs bedroom and bathroom help multi generations enjoy a holiday together. Unlimited dogs are welcome to stay free of charge.

Family time at Bristows Barn

Our 2nd stay everything you could need for a family holiday well stocked kitchen very comfortable beds one en-suite bedroom downstairs very secure garden perfect for rescue dogs who can be reactive. So many places within easy reach and lots of quiet walks around. The welcome basket on arrival was very much appreciated, we will definitely book again.What’s not to love at Bristows Barn,

Human & Doggie Heaven

A lovely week away at Bristow's Barn, with 3 generations and 2 dogs enjoying quality time. Great accommodation with good separation of rooms to allow for privacy. All very comfortable and well appointed. Lovely walks from the door.

Fabulous barn

Great place, well equipped only problem we had was the demolition of a building in the farmyard !! Noise and dust was horrendous, so much so that we moved properties half way through the week !!

Great stay. Lovely place to stay with our big dog. Range of crates available for her to sleep in, including an extra large one. Owner popped round to introduce himself and could not have been more helpful.We will be booking again!

Bristows Barn

Our second stay at this lovely property. Lovely peaceful location and fully secure garden for the dogs. Love that all the East Ruston Cottages are truly dog friendly and no limits on where dogs can go in the properties! Would recommend this property.

Second visit to this lovely house

This was our second visit to Bristow, we loved it the first time and didn't disappoint coming back this year. The house is warm and comfortable, its layout is perfect for my family and for the dogs. Gardens to side and rear very secure and being able to park by the back gate makes it easy to put dogs straight into the garden and shower them before they come in the house. Location to beach, Weavers Way and then town of Stalham perfect. OK, internet could be better if that is crucial to you but its adequate. Would we return for a third visit, hell yes! It feels like coming home

Excellent week away

A fabulous property, very clean, spacious, comfy beds, well equipped kitchen and everything you need for the dogs. Wonderful welcoming tray and fresh flowers. Excellent location for local walks and nearby beaches are only 15 minutes in the car. Plenty of supermarkets in the locality plus farm shops. We couldn’t have been made to feel any more welcome and would love to go back.

Great place

A lovely place to stay for us and so dog friendly. The barn is spacious and the welcome pack much appreciated. The location means it's easy to walk from the door and also not far to drive to the north and east coast.

Second visit to Bristow’s Barn

This was our second visit to Bristow’s Barn and we have stayed in seven other ERC’s. Another great week was had by all of us and the barn was everything we wanted again. We love the location as it is so quiet but also a short drive to the coast and shops.

A great place

An outstanding property

This is an outstanding property … exactly what was needed for our large party + 4 dogs. We had an impromptu ‘dog agility’ event in the spacious garden (soon overtaken by two small children!) and the dining and sitting areas are perfect for a large party. Walks from the door and dog friendly beaches only 10 minutes - what more could we ask for?

What a beautiful place Bristol’s Barn is. There is Everything you could need inside, lovely welcome pack . Small but very securely fenced and private garden . Fantastic dog walks on the doorstep, we loved Weavers Way .

Perfect for a quiet break away in the countryside

We loved the location- so quiet and a short stroll to Weavers Way and to Stalham. Big property - it was just two of us and the dogs so we only used downstairs. Dogs loved the grassy garden and the big courtyard. Very welcoming and friendly owner. We really enjoyed our stay at Bristows Barn.

Superb dog friendly barn

This was the second time we have stayed at Bristows Barn, and it didn’t disappoint. The barn was so clean and we felt at home straight away. The owner was so welcoming, and has thought of everything to make this a truly dog friendly place to stay. The location is wonderful, so close to weavers way, and a short drive to the lovely beaches. Can’t wait to book again.

Back Again!

Second year running we’ve stayed here. Great location, Stalham just 5mins away in the car or nice 30min walk down the weaver way. The barn is spacious, modern and comfortable, the dogs love it! We will definitely be back for a third time!

Perfect…dog friendly … fabulous Barn…wonderful location

Bristows Barn is a wonderful place to stay with your family and dogs. Totally dog friendly, lots of space for everyone. The separate courtyard and garden are great for chilling any time of day. Weavers way is just across the lane, so quiet, we hardly saw any other walkers. Stephen the host was so helpful, we can’t wait to come back again in November.

Fantastic stay

What a perfect week we had in Norfolk made even better by the fabulous property we stayed in. Extremely dog friendly, we took five dogs and the fully enclosed garden was excellent as was everything else provided. We had one small issue with hot water one morning,resolved within half an hour. We will definitely return.

Bristow's Barn East Ruston

We have just come back from a stay at Bristow's Barn with our daughter, 3 grandchildren and 4 dogs. A beautifully restored barn with plenty of room for us all. Ideal location, very short walk to Weavers Way and short drive to Bacton Woods, Bacton beach and Cart Gap. Stephen very kindly let us check in early which was very helpful.

Home from Home

4 beagles, 4 adults and plenty of space. We loved our week at Bristow's Barn. Very relaxing and conveniently located to reach facilities, shops and so many beaches. Stephen was quick to respond to our questions. Only recommendation is for a few more pots and pans in the kitchen.

Quiet and Relaxing

We had high expectations of Bristow’s Barn based on the photos and it did not disappoint. The location was perfect for us, it was quiet with excellent dog walks from the door. The barn was comfortable, warm and well equipped. The kitchen had everything you would want if you planned to cook rather than eat out. We very much look forward to our return visit later on this year.

Great stay

We have just returned from our first visit to Norfolk, staying at the Bristow’s Barn and would highly recommend this accommodation and booking with East Ruston. The accommodation was beautiful and had everything you could possibly need. The location was brilliant for walking our four dogs and it was great to see our reactive boy having the time of his life, swimming in the sea and walking for miles without any distractions. We would also like to say a big thank you to Sue for sorting out some extra goodies and birthday banners for our arrival, it was very much appreciated.
