The houses of "BIRRI SUL MARE"
BIRRI SUL MARE is a collection of holiday homes located in NOTO / LIDO DI NOTO / NOTO MARINA / SIRACUSA province. The houses were built in the 1960s and have been renovated and converted into short-term rental properties since the early 2000s. They are tastefully decorated and well-equipped, offering guests the privilege of staying in one of the most beautiful stretches of coastline in south-eastern Sicily.

The houses are located overlooking the magnificent beach of Eloro Pizzuta, in the heart of the Eloro Archaeological Park and right at the start of the Vendicari Nature Reserve. The entire area is protected and access is only permitted to residents and guests.

CASA ELORINA is the flagship of BIRRI SUL MARE. It can accommodate up to 8 people with its 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, large living room with living area + dining area + kitchen with dishwasher, veranda terrace facing the sea, barbecue, large garden covered with citrus trees and olive trees.

All the houses of BIRRI SUL MARE are independent and offer furnished and private outdoor spaces: it is essential for us to always protect the privacy of our guests, so that they can spend peaceful and regenerating moments.

The sea here is truly beautiful, with its clear and clean water, fine sand and, at the two ends of the bay, low cliffs.

Upon arrival, guests will find the houses always thoroughly and professionally cleaned, sanitized and already complete with all the textiles, provided by one of the most reliable linen rental companies in the area.

An important goal for us is to maintain a high standard of cleanliness, order and safety over time, without compromise.

The houses are eco-sustainable and the policy we adopt for the management of our territory is based on the utmost respect for the environment.

We live on the property and are therefore always available and present for any need of our guests, with whom we love to build relationships based on respect, trust and hospitality.

BIRRI SUL MARE has been around for many years now: many people have chosen to stay in our houses, many also love to come back year after year, and it is always a great joy for us to receive the enthusiastic feedback of those who have found exactly what they were looking for and leave here full of energy and with the desire to return even in future occasions.

Beautiful place in a very quiet and relaxing nature

We stayed wirh 9 people at the house and had a wonderful time there. The house is located at the nature reserve and therefore very quiet and relaxing. You have access to the most beautiful beach. In April the weather was already good and we were able to sit and eat outside with a view to the sea. It is close to Syracusa, Noto and other nice tourist attractions but still gives you the chance to relax. Alberto is a great host. Many thanks for your recommendations and support during our stay.

Ein Idyll am Meer

Wir haben hier wunderbare Tage verbracht. Casa Elorina liegt inmitten eines Naturschutzgebietes und ist eine Oase der Ruhe. Von der großen Terrasse, die mit duftendem Jasmin umwachsen ist, hat man einen herrlichen Blick auf die Pizzuta-Bucht. Vom Haus aus ist man in fünf Minuten zu Fuß am sehr schönen Sandstrand - wir haben das morgendliche Bad im Meer vor dem Frühstück auf der Terrasse jeden Tag genossen. Nach unseren zahlreichen Ausflügen zu sehenswerten Städten wie Syrakus, Noto und Modica haben wir uns immer wieder darauf gefreut, abends 'nach Hause' zu kommen. Das Haus, umgeben von einem großen Grundstück mit Zitronenbäumen, ist mit viel Geschmack und originellen Details eingerichtet; wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Alberto war ein reizender Gastgeber, dem unser Wohl am Herzen lag – zuvorkommend und stets hilfsbereit. Mille grazie di tutto –wir kommen gerne wieder!

Schöne Lage

Wir sind mit 2 Familien zu 7 dort untergekommen. Die Schlafzimmer waren von der Größe her angenehm. Der Gemeinschaftliche Bereich war mit 3 Kids ausreichend, weil man ja meist unterwegs war. Zum Strand geht's direkt vom Haus aus über eine große Wiese und man ist in 5 Minuten dort. Der Strand ist einfach super schön und das Wasser sehr klar und angenehm von der Temperatur. Im Ort gibt kleine Lädchen für das Nötigste. Zum großen Supermarkt braucht man schon 15 Minuten mit dem Auto. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter Alberto lief soweit gut. Wir würden wieder dort hinfahren.

La casa é all'interno di una limonaia ed è a soli 5 min a piedi da una bellissima spiaggia. Alberto, il proprietario, è stato sempre presente e disponibile e ci ha anche coccolati un po', assolutamente consigliato:)

superb location, superb beach and a most friendly landlord

Highly recommended. Large, cool (!) house with terraces, seaview, located in a natural park. The most friendly landlord Alberto is prepared to fulfill all your wishes. The barock village Noto, old Syracuse and a lots of fine restaurants are nearby. We'll be back!

la casa che abbiamo trovato, e' pulita ed ordinata, la posizione e' unica. La terrazza sul mare

Ci siamo trovati benissimo, la casa e' confortevole e ben equipaggiata. pulita ed ordinata. La terrazza sul mare e' meravigliosa, si ha la sensazione di essere in barca a vela tanto il mare diventa presente nelle tue giornate. Per raggiungere la spiaggia si ha un cancellino privato e si attraversa un campo, saranno un centinaio di metri. i nostri figli hanno giocato in giardino , in tranquillita'. belle,belle giornate , un soggiorno ed una vacanza che ci restera' nel cuore.

schlechtes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis, dürftige Ausstattung

wir zu 5 Erwachsenen in dem Haus, wir hatten dieses Haus gebucht weil wir zu dem, für sizilianische Verhältnisse hohen Preis einen hohen Standard erwartet hatten, diesbezüglich wurden wir leider enttäuscht. Das Haus hat eine sehr gute Lage, durch einen Schilfgürtel erreicht man nach ca. 300 m einen ca. 300 m langen Naturstrand der in einem Naturschutzgebiet liegt, lediglich am Wochenende war es etwas voller, in der Woche waren vielleicht mal 20 - 30 Personen am Strand. Das Haus war auch für sizilianische Verhältnisse spärlich und lieblos ausgestattet. Die Beleuchtung war dürftig und an mindesten 3 Lampen fehlte der Lampenschirm und die nackte Glühlampe erhellte unser dasein. die Bestuhlung war sowohl im Essbereich als auch draußen auf Dauer recht unbequem. Die Holzliegen darußen waren schon sehr angegriffen und eine ist bei der ersten Benutzung dann auch direkt kaputtgegangen. Wurde von Vermieter aber kurzfristig ausgetauscht. Insgesamt fehlte es aber im gesamten Haus an bequemen Sitzgelegenheiten in denen man einen entspannenden Urlaub genießen kann. Der Kühlschrank ist ebenfalls in die Jahre gekommen, sowohl bei unserer Ankunft als auch während der Woche begann er abzutauen, was dazu führte das die Küche permanent aufgewischt werden musste, schon damit nicht auf den Fliesen ausrutscht.

Il mare è a due passi e tu sei dentro un oasi

All'arrivo siamo stati accolti dal proprietario che è stato gentile, ci ha dato tutte le informazioni sulla casa ed i dintorni. Abbiamo scoperto che eravamo vicini a tanti luoghi da visitare e così abbiamo fatto nei giorni seguenti. Siracusa Ortigia, Ragusa Ibla, Marzamemi, posti incantevoli non lontani da casa. Il giorno era dedicato alle scoperte, al mare , alle visite ai monumenti ed alle città barocche. La sera con l'aiuto del proprietario abbiamo cenato benissimo nei ristoranti di Noto e Siracusa. La casa era perfettamente pulita, c'era ogni cosa di cui potevamo avere bisogno, nella sua semplicità una casa molto bella e funzionale. Ma la cosa più straordinaria era la posizione. La mattina prendevamo il caffè davanti al mare, sotto al bersot in giardino con il sole del mattino che abituati al freddo inverno di Vicenza era a dir poco una sensazione meravigliosa. Abbiamo fatto lunghe passeggiate sulla spiaggia, da quella sotto casa si potevano raggiungere le altre spiaggie, eloro, marianelli , calamosca per poi tornare attraversando la riserva naturale di vendicari. Vicino al pantano di Vendicari abbiamo trovato i fenicotteri , insomma una natura meravigliosa. Proteggerla è stata una grande idea. Siamo sicuri che torneremo , è stata una vacanza rigenerante, romantica ed anche i nostri ragazzi hanno finalmente distolto gli occhi dallo smartphone e si sono guardati intorno, hanno alzato lo sguardo finalmente. L'anno prossimo verremo per Pasqua, la Sicilia è meravigliosa in quel mese, tutta verde, fiorita, colorata. L'ultimo pensiero è lo stupore per la luce, in Sicilia c'è una luce che scalda il cuore.

Capodanno a Casa Elorina: una vacanza bellissima!

Questa è stata la nostra terza vacanza a casa Elorina: negli anni passati siamo venuti durante l'estate, mentre questa volta abbiamo deciso di ritornarci durante il periodo a cavallo tra Natale ed Epifania. E' stato un capodanno bellissimo: il fascino del luogo incantato in cui si trova Casa Elorina, il confort accogliente della casa anche nel periodo invernale (l'impianto di riscaldamento funziona alla perfezione), i colori e le luci di Dicembre e di Gennaio, il clima comunque caldo nelle giornate di bel tempo (non è sempre stato soleggiato, purtroppo, ma anche quel poco ci è strabastato) che ci consentiva di pranzare in giardino in maniche di camicia proprio davanti al mare ... mio marito è tutto fiero per avere addirittura potuto fare una nuotata mozzafiato in compagnia di una coppia di turisti tedeschi nel mare cristallino davanti a casa, incredibile! Insomma, ogni volta che ci torniamo aumenta il nostro desiderio di comprare casa proprio qua. I proprietari, molto gentili come nelle precedenti occasioni, ci hanno accompagnato in un giro di tutta la proprietà. C'è sempre da scoprire qualcosa di nuovo: in questa occasione abbiamo scoperto più da vicino anche le altre casette più piccole, tutte poco distanti dalla Elorina, e sull'onda dell'entusiasmo abbiamo già programmato di ritornare solo io e mio marito in Maggio per l'Infiorata di Noto ... questa volta però verremo proprio in una delle casette più piccine, a Casa Vendicari, risparmiando sicuramente (il che non guasta) ma senza rinunciare a nulla del fascino di questo posto. Stiamo facendo il conto alla rovescia!

Casa Sara - Giugno 2016

Vacanza perfetta grazie anche all'ambiente rilassante che offre Casa Sara. Abbiamo soggiornato in 7 persone nella prima settimana di giugno. Per raggiungere la casa un vialetto in mezzo a piante di limoni profumatissime, fiori, arbusti e zona prato. Un angolo in campagna vicino al mare. Dotata di tutti i comfort (condizionatore, lavatrice, wi-fi, Bbq, phon, zanzariere). Camere molto spaziose e grandi spazi comuni. Una bella veranda dove poter pranzare, cenare, fare colazione comodamente. Meglio del previsto rispetto a quanto possano rendere le foto. Strategica anche la posizione – 10min. da Noto e da Avola e vicino ad una bellissima spiaggia raggiungibile a piedi. Ottima accoglienza del proprietario Alberto: persona molto gentile, disponibile a far fronte ad ogni nostra richiesta. Ci ha perfettamente consigliato sia in merito a spiagge e luoghi da visitare, sia in merito a ristoranti e locali. Giudizio estremamente positivo

Casa Sara Giugno 2016

Casa Sara è carina e circondata da alberi di limoni dolcissimi che sono a disposizioni degli ospiti. In una zona molto tranquilla ma allo stesso tempo in posizione strategica a 10 min da Noto ed Avola ed è possibile raggiungere una spiaggia a piedi. C’è l’indispensabile per una vacanza tranquilla e se si ha bisogno di qualcosa Alberto è sempre a disposizione e velocissimo nel soddisfare ogni richiesta.

Sympatisches Haus wenige Meter von schönem Strand

Wir haben zu siebt (darunter zwei kleine Kinder) eine tolle Woche in Casa Elorina verbracht. Das Haus liegt ca. 5 min vom Natursandstrand entfernt. Während unseres Aufenthaltes (Anfang Juni) war dort nie viel los, in der Früh war man allein. Das Haus hat einen netten kleinen Garten, Platz genug für drei, vier Liegen und einen großen Tisch mit Meerblick, an dem wir alle Mahlzeiten eingenommen haben. Innen ist das Haus einfach aber sauber. In ca. 10 min zu Fuß erreicht man Lido die Noto, wo es ein, zwei Bars, zwei Mini Markets und ein Lokal am Strand gibt, Noto und Avola sind mit dem Auto jeweils in 10-15 min erreichbar. Beides sehr nette Städte (die Altstadt jeweils!). Dort gibt es alles, was das Herz an geschften und Restaurants begehrt (Tipps von Alberto befolgen!). Der Vermieter Alberto ist sehr hilfsbereit (er wohnt am Ende der Straße), zugleich aber sehr zurückhaltend. Kurz: wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und würden das Haus vorbehaltlos empfehlen.

Soggiorno casa Elorina

La casa ideale per le mie vacanze. Pulita, dotata di tutto il necessario, immersa nella natura lontano dalla confusione e con una splendida vista sul mare. Dista pochi minuti a piedi dalla splendida spiaggia di Eloro che, fortunatamente non è attrezzata e quindi allo stato naturale. Gentile e disponibile Alberto anche se non ci sono stati problemi da risolvere. Spero di poter ritornare in settembre.

stare in campagna sul mare

Quando siamo arrivati era sera, si intuiva che eravamo arrivati in posto particolare, la stradina per arrivare, il canneto, la spiaggia e la luna che la illuminava alla nostra sinistra. Eravamo stanchi ma felici, finalmente una tregua dal lavoro. La mattina il luogo si è rivelato nella sua bellezza selvaggia, la spiaggia era li davanti alla casa , il mare azzurro ed infinito. La sicilia tutta è stata una rivelazione, davvero interessante e ricca di emozioni. I momenti insieme nel giardino della casa , il silenzio della riserva che dava spazio alla lettura dei nostri libri preferiti, le cene davanti al mare sotto la veranda , il vino ed il cibo di questi luoghi hanno reso belle davvero le nostre vacanze. Vorremmo ritornare a settembre , ci piacerebbe molto

Everything perfect - we just loved it

Casa Elorina is just perfect for couples or families. It´s situated on ist own, but you´re not lost in the middle of nowhere. In nearby Lido di Noto are bars, shops and restaurants, the beach is less than a 5 Minute walk and very clean. The house is well equipped and clean, new, quiet and cosy. We would love to come back - besides: Alberto is a very nice host!!!

Mare e Barocco

La villa che abbiamo affittato per due settimane, ha rispettato tutte le nostre aspettative. Vicina ad uno splendido mare (praticamente dentro la riserva di Vendicari),silenziosa , immersa nella natura, attrezzata con ogni elettrodomestico e utensile, a pochi minuti dalle bellezze del barocco siciliano, Noto, Siracusa Scicli,Ragusa. Il proprietario, simpatico e professionale dispensa utilissimi consigli ed è sempre disponibile per qualunque evenienza. Consiglio questo tipo di vacanza a famiglie e gruppi di amici

"La casa corrisponde pien...

"La casa corrisponde pienamente all''annuncio e alle nostre aspettative. Il proprietario Alberto e la signora Cristina, che gestisce la casa in sua assenza, sono stati estremamente gentili, ospitali e disponibili per ogni possibile problema. La casa e'' grande, pulita, il giardino piacevole (unico neo le tante zanzare, ma temo sia inevitabile in una riserva). Un paio di equipaggiamenti malfunzionamenti sono stati cambiati durante il nostro soggiorno. Dotazione in ogni caso molto buona: dagli elettrodomestici agli equipaggiamenti da spiaggia e da giardino. Acqua in abbondanza, anche calda, particolarmente piacevole per la doccia esterna! La posizione e'' stupenda, 10 minuti di auto dalla città di Noto e 5 minuti a piedi dalla prima spiaggia della riserva di Vendicari. Con pochi minuti a piedi in più'', una paio di altre spiagge meravigliose. Strategico l''essere a mezz''ora di auto da Siracusa, un''ora da Modica, nel mezzo del barocco siciliano! Ottimi i consigli ricevuti per fare la spesa o cenare fuori. Spaventata dal giudizio tutt''altro che positivo dell''affittuario precedente, ho contattato il Sig. Alberto che mi ha rassicurato e fatto trovare una casa in ottime condizioni!"

"Nice villa very close to...

"Nice villa very close to the sea with large lemon garden. Our family spent there 2 months. We have a baby and such kind of villa just amazing place for the family holidays. Very close tho the sea, no cars, the beach is very clean and wild (not many people), natural park just around the house, very friendly owner and people who served the house (they treated us fruits when it was season). About 6 km from the villa there is pearl of baroque Noto, we just visited 4 times a week."
