Casa Stella by Wonderful Italy
Comfortable studio apartment with modern furnishings, in a convenient location for visiting the historic center of Ostuni.
The apartment is on ground floor of a building in a quiet residential area and consists of a bright open space characterized by a vaulted ceiling with exposed stones. Here guests will find a kitchenette equipped with amenities including a microwave and a kettle, a dining table and a sofa, behind which is placed a queen-size bed. A bathroom with shower completes the layout.
Free wifi, washing machine, air conditioning and heat pump heating will be available in the accommodation.
*Upon arrival or a few days before arrival it may be required to pay a tourist tax, which varies according to local regulations. You will find your reservation details within the Guest Area of Wonderful Italy.
Ostuni, known to the world as the White City, is the pearl of the Itria Valley. Its blindingly white, immense historic center culminates in the Cathedral (600 meters from the apartment) that soars over the plain of olive trees, the coastal dune park and a crystal-clear sea. Characteristic are its narrow streets, the Piazza della Libertà (5 minutes away) and the column of St. Oronzo that majestically protects the town.
Its countryside stretches into the heart of the Itria Valley. A few kilometers away is Ceglie Messapica, a center of tradition and enogastronomy; Cisternino, a village recognized as one of the most beautiful in Italy; and Alberobello, whose famous trulli have been a world heritage site since 1996. About 30 km to the north we find the Archaeological Park of Egnatia, Monopoli and Polignano a Mare, ancient fishing villages with a charming historic center and beautiful beaches. To the north (80 km) we find Bari, the gateway to the East, while proceeding south we first encounter the Torre Guaceto nature reserve, then Brindisi to reach Lecce, the capital of Baroque. Moving westward there is Taranto, heart of Magna Graecia, and finally to Matera, characteristic for its sassi and European Capital of Culture 2019.
The nearest airports are Brindisi and Bari, which are 35 minutes and 1 hour and 10 minutes away by car, respectively.
