The living areas in this single-storey lodge consist of an open-plan kitchen, dining area and sitting area with gas oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, electric fire, and TV. The bedrooms have TVs and include a double with en-suite, and a twin, serviced by a bathroom. Outside there is an enclosed veranda with furniture and a hot tub, and off-road parking for two cars. This is a pet-free and smoke-free property. You'll find a shop in 0.5 miles, a pub on-site, and Lake Windermere in 0.3 miles. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Bosun's Lodge is a wonderful base for a family escape to Cumbria. Note: There are steps to the exterior of the home. Note: The hot tub is only available between 10am-10pm. The thriving towns of Windermere and Ambleside, which offer a variety of services like stores, pubs, and cafes, are nearby. Children will appreciate the Beatrix Potter World in neighbouring Bowness, where technology brings her characters to life. Lake Windermere offers a variety of lakeside activities, including visits to the famed Grizedale Forest Park and the world-famous Aquarium.
